Best part of the office that attracted me here was the tables for pre natal massage. They offer a cut out for your belly so you can lie face down which is the most amazing thing when you’re pregnant.
I have been seeing Kevin for my pre-​natal massages and his work compares to no other massage I’ve had before. It’s very clinical but at the same time he provides a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. I’ve had plenty of massages at different places and it almost always just feels like a routine massage, which can be relaxing but you walk out feeling the same.
Kevin provides a lot of detail and care to areas of concern and he was very educated on pre natal massage just over all anatomy.
I bought the series of 5 and received a 6^th free which is a great offer. The woman at the front desk is also very friendly, makes is easy to book appointments!

I can’t praise this place enough! Dr. D and her staff are always ready to care of my aches and pains — which happens often! I try to avoid meds as much as possible, and I’ve tried many of their holistic approaches: massage, acupuncture, graxton, rolfing, cupping, etc. Each therapist is accommodating, and they listen intently to your needs to make sure you’re taken care of.

I went in to see Rachel for a pre natal massage. I’d been struggling with neck pain and sciatic pain for two trimesters… and nothing was relieving my pain. I was able to get in on a Saturday, quickly! I can not begin to describe how wonderful she was. This was my first pre natal massage and she walked me through all the details. She was smart, funny, professional and very resourceful. I am pleased to say I have not had any additional pain since my massage and I’m in to my third trimester. If I ever have the need (or just want a great massage) I will definetly be back to see her!!!

My newborn son was having difficulty breastfeeding. He had a lip and tongue tie that we had taken care of by a pediatric dentist but still didn’t seem to get it quite right. One session of crania sacral therapy and it made a HUGE difference. I’ve been taking him ever since… fantastic and comprehensive chiropractic care, wonderful massage, and a helpful staff that takes time to get to know you and serve you the best way possible. My family loves Sauganash Wellness Center!

I am an idiot and injure myself in amazingly ridiculous ways. My latest injury is an angry calf muscle caused by getting wrapped up in my sheets and falling out of bed. Yup.
I knew after it wasn’t healed after a few weeks that I’d need to reach out and get some medical attention. As I didn’t want drugs to mask the pain and wasn’t quite sure if I was up to physical therapy yet, I sought out someone I knew would help me on the way to healing. Enter Sauganash Wellness Center and its incredible staff to the rescue (again).
Deanna looked me over, confirmed that I was an idiot (actually she just laughed with me), gave me an amazing Chiropractic adjustment and then sent me off for a massage to help my poor sore muscles. After my half– painful, half– wonderful massage, she created art on my calf with some Kineseo Tape.
I left feeling sore in a good way, versus the aching sore I’d been feeling for weeks. The tape has been helping a lot today and I look forward to our next session in a few days. I know she’ll have me at least back to 70% by the time of Riot Fest. My rock n’ roll savior.

I’ve noticed recently that my bad posture and habits have caused my back to be sore and stiff. Being a stressful person doesn’t help either :|
Anyways, I procrastinated for a long time to find a place that would work on my sore muscles and get me aligned.
Using this fabulous app, I was able to find this place. I feel fantastic so far! They really work you over with deep tissue and trigger point work. So far I’ve seen Rachel, and boy is she a tough cookie! Love it!!!
Dr. D is a fantastic adjuster as well. She is quick and gentle. I noticed that she is certified in a lot of other things so I’m excited for any future issues or ailments!

I saw Janet yesterday for a prenatal massage and she was awesome!!! Would for recommend her and this facility to anyone!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They actually CARE about the people in pain. It’s refreshing to see that atmosphere– as opposed to the places that only care about taking on extra services so they can up the bill.
I feel amazing each and every time I come here and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who can get out this way.
My suggestion is an adjustment with Dr. D and then a full hour massage. You will thank me for suggesting it.

I went to the Sauganash Wellness Center to get a prenatal massage. The massage was good but not the best I’ve had. The Massage therapist was polite, attentive and had the right amount of pressure so I would give her 5 stars if I could separate that from the environment. The office is very clinical, which makes sense because they do more than just massages. However, it wasn’t very relaxing. I could also hear people talking in the halls while I was getting my massage. The area was a bit cramped which isn’t terribly relaxing. I arrived at 5 for my massage and, by the time I went to the bathroom (which is essential for a prenatal massage!), filled out the forms, was led to the room and undressed, I had cut about 10 – 15 minutes off of my hour massage. The therapist stopped just shy of 6 which made my hour massage about 40 – 45 minutes. I’m surprised that they didn’t tell me to get there early and/​or account for that time somehow (like other places do).
So, while it was overall a good massage, I probably won’t go there again. The prices were the same as much better places. I do have to say that the actual massage was great. It’s a shame that everything else detracted from the whole experience.

I have been going here for over a year, and I LOVE this place! I found them after I moved to Sauganash. I had a few-​months-​old baby at the time and my neck/​back was paying for it! Hours of carrying him around and bending over were causing me to have all sorts of aches and pains.
I always go for the ‘combo plan’, when you go in and get all loosened up and relaxed by a powerful massage (I usually see Rob, but have seen 2 other massage therapists there, and they’re all great!). Once your muscles have been de-​knotted, I go see Dr. D, the chiro, to perform the adjustment. Now let me say, going in I was soo nervous about the adjustment part, because, I dunno, just because. So I told Dr. D that it made me nervous, specifically the neck-​crack-​part. She still remembers and is very gentle and has never made me feel like my head is going to make a complete 360. The adjustment is so wonderful, it honestly feels like your whole body/​spine/​skeleton just ‘fits’ better than it did before you walked in the door.
As much as we all like a massage and a relaxed back, it can be pretty pricey to take care of it. Unless you have insurance and Sauganash Wellness Center accepts it, like they do mine. This is the only reason I can continue to go regularly. So nice!
Definitely try this place. You will be so so happy you did!

I am so glad I found this place during my pregnancy! And I still go for regular adjustments. Dr. D is the best! And Rachel is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I went weekly during my last trimester and it was heaven. They have those beds with the cutout for the belly (which I hesistated at first) but they are amazing!!! I highly recommend this place.

I was looking for a new chiropractor in my area, and I was sold on the glowing reviews already on Unilocal enough to give them a try, (and also they accept my insurance.) Everyone I’ve encountered so far has been totally professional yet super friendly and caring. Dr. D is gentle yet thorough, and I found both her and Rob very personable.
I just had my first professional massage from Rob, and it was so relaxing, I joked that I should’ve brought a designated driver! Seriously, I was slurring my speech a little afterward. I imagine that whether you’re a newbie like me or a seasoned massage client, you’ll find the services more than satisfying. Ok, gonna go nap now!

Like a lot of people, I work in front of a computer from 9 – 5, which lead me to have some crazy back problems. So I looked for the closest chiropractor in my area that accepted my insurance, and that’s how I came to find the Sauganash Wellness Center. And what a find it was!!!
They provide a wide array of services but I personally go for the massage therapy & chiropractic adjustments. Initially, I was always skeptical about getting massaged… something about having a stranger see and touch me while I lay half naked on a table kinda gave me the creeps. Not here!!! This place has a great vibe, it’s kinda like I’m visiting an old friend. No akward silences or judgments here! Although the whole staff is great, I usually go to Rachel or Rob for my massages. Not for nothing but they are the shiet! Seriously. This is no frou-​frou massage spot. They go deep down and find the root of the problem, then attack it head on. I also find them to be quite entertaining! Then after my muscles are relaxed Dr. D (the coolest chiropractor in the world) sets everything back into place. I won’t lie, I’m usually super sore the day after. But in truth this place has made a HUGE difference for me. I always feel great afterwards and they really do make my pain go away.
Aside from their excellent services and know-​how, I have to say my favorite thing about this place is the people. EVERYONE is super nice and friendly. Always with a smile, a joke and a story. It’s a really inviting atmosphere and it seems to me that they really love what they do. You have to experience it for yourself to see what I’m saying!
