RV Tire Shop

So today get home from work this afternoon and notice my tire looks a bit low. I had just put air in it three nights ago and the tire pressure sensor was still on. I call around and 1 other place is closing and are not willing to wait 10 minutes for me to drive over. I am and have been aware of RV’s being a resident in this are for 35+ years. So I decide to look this place up as it is down the street. Did not have to get out of the car. I was lucky it was cold and I was the only one here as it gets crazy busy in the summer!
Anyway, honest fast work. 10 minutes — nail removed, tire sealed, pressurized and mounted. $ 25, gave him $ 5 on top for the ease of service. Good luck with that at any chain commercial tire joint!

1. Low prices you don’t have to haggle — They were cheaper than CostCo or Discount Tire and balanced my wheels for free.
2. Fast service — I pulled up to the «garage» in the back and they popped the tires on in about 10 minutes. My girlfriend and I didn’t even have to get out of the car.
3. Really nice people — Everyone was really friendly and didn’t do any hard up-​selling, like I’m used to at tire shops.

Angel was amazing. Went in to get my tires balanced. He was honest and explained everything that he was doing. Seriously, ask for Angel, great guy with integrity.

I came here because a friend referred me here. I purchased some rims and needed them to be put on. Honestly the price and the extreme fast service was more than 5 stars! He put on all 4 Rims and Had 4 wheel locks on deck ALL FOR $ 65! You can’t beat that. They’re awesome and I would come back anytime and recommend everyone here!

I came in at what seemed as a real busy time for them on a Monday afternoon, with TWO tire issues, and Angel was still able to help so efficiently. Thinking I would have to purchase two tires, they were able to fix one and replaced the other with a used tired for the best cost. Service was quick, friendly, and affordable, all that you can ask for.
Their 30 day free warranty is also a plus.

I’ve been using RV to fix flats since the 80s. Recently I purchased two new tires. I didn’t have time to shop and compare prices in advance so I hoped for the best. Over the next couple of weeks I noticed tire prices and RV was a great value and close to home. I will head to RV next time i5 need new tires.
If you show up when they are busy it can get crowded in the alley. I have left my keys and gone shopping at Tonys Finer Foods across the street while they work on my car.

I drove around Humboldt Park looking for a tire place open on Sunday’s. I was looking for two used tires. They didn’t have any used in the size I needed, and while there, I discovered I needed new tires all the way around anyway. They offered me a set of affordable new tires and worked with me on the price a bit. I was back on the road in less than hour and the guys there were very friendly, and quick. I was bummed I needed to spend more than I wanted but I left feeling great about the purchase, and my car rides smoother than ever. I’ll be going back if I have other tire needs. Thanks guys!

This place came highly recommended by a family member who raved about the experience. I hit a nasty pothole the other night that damaged my rim and rendered one of my front tires useless. I took my car here last night. They showed me the damage to the rim, explained why the tire was beyond repair, and told me to come back in 1 hour. For $ 75, they repaired my rim, replaced the tire with a brand new Michelin (exact same specs matching 3 others from the factory), and installed it on the spot. Overwhelmingly positive experience here. The guys are super nice, very helpful, honest, and hard working. Extremely quick turnaround. Will never go elsewhere.

Best of the best tire shops in the city. First off I went to Firestone and they told me I needed 4 new tires. I then went to another cooperate tire shop they told me I only needed one new tire and they couldnt patch my tire. Well not R-​V tires they patched my tire no problem. It’s great too see a buisness run on honesty and not run by the dollar. Just because of that I will only come to R-​V. Cheap and honest tires plus I no longer live near by I drive for miles for these guys. Putting on a spare and driving is cheaper than getting ripped off.

This place is 2 blocks north of my house. I have driven by it a gazillion times. Drove right by it twice in two weeks specifically to go to a Firestone CareCare place that didn’t fix my flat right either time that I brought the car in. I decided to flip the script and stop in at this place because they look real deal and they are neighborhood. I AM SO GLAD I DID. Fixed my flat in about 20 minutes. I got to watch the whole process. Seems the Firestone folks didn’t really grind my rim enough to get rid of the rust that was messing up the seal of the tire to the rim. $ 15 to fix it right. If you have a flat or need a tire, go here. Fast, friendly, professional, local, small biz doing it right. Yes! 5-​stars, no hesitation. They get my business and they should get yours too.

So, after the flat on my car was replaced with the spare I needed to get the tire fixed. I drove over here because it’s very close to my house. The owner (?) while a man of few words was able to replace my tire with a new one for $ 35. How is this possible? I’m pretty sure I have paid over $ 100 for tires before? He had it done within 10 minutes and even told me that the other tires were OK for now. I was ready to replace them all! Honesty like that doesn’t happen everywhere so support local businesses and go to the honest guys!

I went here after someone had recommended them to me. I ended up not getting winter tires because I wouldn’t want to deal with storing them the rest of the year, but I got a nice deal on new all season tires, which arrived 2 days later, and they installed them for me, quickly too.
When negotiating the price of the new tires, I simply asked if that was the best they could do, and they came down a bit on the price for me.
The guy who seems to own and run the place is Raymond/​Ramon. He’s really friendly, and doesn’t give a sleazy vibe like other salespeople might. He’s just offering a good service, and he knows it.
It is best to park in the alley, they’ve got a bit of room there, so if you’re coming down Fullerton, turn on Central Park, and then turn into the alley, and you’ll be right there in their area. It can be a tight squeeze when they’ve got a lot of business, but they do the best that they can.
Next time I’ve got a tire issue (hopefully not for a very long time), I’ll definitely be heading back there.
