They’re tucked back in a corridor of a building and usually show things I like! Staff is nice.

A small gallery with a friendly owner and staff and an emphasis on the Imagists, plus other emphases I like but don’t recognize(1970s and 1980s figurative art, maybe?), and one weird outsider artist whose work they show from time to time. It all coheres, and they pack a lot of meaning into one large room and one small room that also offers wine, cheese, crackers and grapes during openings – i.e., they work at being hospitable. They’re kind of tucked back in a corridor of a building toward the west end of the stretch of galleries on Superior, and there is some banal stuff from another gallery in the window on the street, so you need to ignore the unpromising window and find your way in and find them. They’re on the first floor.(So is Printworks, which is not banal at all.)
