Amazing finds! So thrilled its in the hood.

If Unilocal puts this store is in the thrift store category, then its the classiest thrift store I have ever stepped foot in. They have gently used high quality items. Root is constantly getting new items, it is never stale. They carry vintage furniture pieces and other eclectic decorative items. We bought a very nice dresser here last summer and a cute little desk in the fall. I am still kicking myself for not buying the comfiest little baker love seat they had. Also, I have consigned a few items here myself. They always reasonably price everything and are realistic about what will sell and what won’t. I believe if things do not sell after a certain amount of time they will donate it.
Can’t forget to give a shout-​out to the super friendly and helpful staff!

This place is worth checking out. The interior was chic and the selection was good. They had a lot of vintage furniture in great condition — wooden desks, sitting chairs, mirrors, etc. Prices were reasonable.
Stop by on your way home from the train, just to take a look. They have a lot of neat stuff!

Love Root.
You can always find something in here-​lots of great lamps. Larger pieces of furniture depend weekly-​sometimes there are lots and sometimes not but what is there is fabulous so when you see something you like jump on it and they will hold it for you and also check back often. Usually very good quality sofas and armchairs. Also they stock gorgeous soy candles that are $ 25 but burn forever and fill your house with fragrance. If you live in the area Root is the place to pop to if you have people coming over and u want to run in quick and grab one or two reasonably priced things that are unique pieces that will transform a room. Prices drop as time goes on but there are also sales frequently so watch their FB site-​I only wish they would post their latest stuff on FB more often so us local Root enthusiasts could be the first to get in there and grab it!

Great new addition to Beverly… even more specifically, it’s a great addition to 103^rd street! Beautifully done both inside and out. Prices are good and owners are friendly and helpful. Man… woman…young…old…impossible to go in and not find something cool.
