Having lived in Rogers Park almost 10yrs, I am beyond ecstatic that this store is here. Stopped by with friends to check it out before grabbing a cocktail next door at RP Social. Walked out with stationery, candles and cheese & sausage(which we ate with our cocktails). Ended up hosting Thanksgiving and went in again to get more cheese/sausage hors d’oeurves recommendations from John Paul. Walked out with that, knife set, coffee and more candles & stationery. Cool little shop that definitely has my business.

I am so glad this opened in Rogers Park! A great shop that carries awesome and unique items for dinner parties, birthdays, or other special events. Especially for us etiquette-inept, who need a little(a lot) of help being proper guests or hosts. The shop has only been open a few months, but I have already gone in multiple times with last minute requests: cheese tray for a party, urgent birthday gift, wedding present… the list goes on. In fact, again today, I called in with an urgent request: Procrastinating me: «OMG, do you carry desserts? I need to bring a dessert!» Wonderful RPP person: «Sure, we can have something ready for you, when do you want to pick up?» Very thankful me: «ASAP» Truly awesome RPP person: «No problem» See what I mean? And the things they carry are really awesome. Have you ever had a chocolate sausage? No? Well then, you must try it! Need a decorative unique Chicago themed platter? This is your place! What about amazing smelling candles(which I always get compliments on, btw)? Yep, right here. Oh, you’re going to a same sex wedding? Lovely wedding cards perfect for the occasion. Need a sandwich on the way to Rogers Park Social? Why, hello yummy baguettes! I also hear that they will soon have their packaged liquor license. I can’t wait for that. I’m already a hit at parties when I bring anything from RPP; I have no doubt their wine selection will be to die for. Thank you, Rogers Park Provisions, for helping make this etiquette-inept person into an Emily Post poster child.
