My family was introduced to Reza over 25 years ago from a designer. During this time we’ve purchased many amazing rugs from him. We’ve also had rugs cleaned and repaired by Reza. The cleaning and repair work is incredible. Every interaction with Reza is always pleasant. His knowledge of rugs is amazing, and his prices are very reasonable, especially considering his customer service. It’s always fun to visit his showroom and drink Persian tea and learn about rugs. I would never go anywhere else to purchase/​repair/​clean Oriental rugs… he’s the best!

I bought two nice rugs from Reza. Last week I stopped by and gave him my budget and dimensions he said he would pull up a selection and let me know when to come in to go over them. I didn’t have a direction for color or patterns so he selected a wide range and I was able to chose from what he showed me. They delivered them with padding and installed them. These are REAL handmade and beautiful… the colors look even better in the house. I’m very happy, I did my research and I feel like I got a great deal.

I am very happy with the results of 4 oriental rugs cleaned and 1 of them repaired by this company. The rugs were picked up and returned in good time by 2 very nice guys. The rugs are clean (and smell nice) and have a shiny new look about them once more. One of my rugs was in need of repair as a corner had been eaten by a naughty Labrador that used to live at our house. Someone at Reza’s fixed the corner by weaving very professionally and the eaten fringe was replaced too. I am a happy customer but please note (as other customers have mentioned) that this is not an inexpensive service. Cleaning oriental rugs properly is not easy but important to their care. Also, don’t assume that new padding is included as that is not always the case.

If you are in Chicago with an antique rug and need it cleaned, This is a great place. I worked with Muhammed after an ugly rug oil spill. Reza’s quote was 800.00 dollars less than most places they picked the rug up and dropped off the rug good as new! They were only 60.00 dollars over their original quote and went above and beyond proffesional friendly service! Call Reza’s, you’ll be glad you trusted them with your rugs!

After a mishap with a flooding we had to replace 3 beautiful old Persian rugs in our house. Reza worked diligently with our insurance company to assure getting a comparable value rugs to replace the damaged ones.
The shopping for these rugs was an out of this world experience. One beautiful rug after another was rolled out in front of us by the wonderful staff. Reza is extremely knowledgeable and helped with understanding of the origins, patterns and value of each rug. The three replacements we purchased were delivered with padding and put in exactly where we wanted them. Over the years we have taken rugs back there for repair and washing. Each experience was better than the other.

I have an oriental rug that I think is lovely and the moths found it delicious. Once I discovered this I called Reza’s and they assured me they could repair it so it was good as new. Which they did!!! Everyone I dealt with with was delightful, always offering me a cup of tea, which if you haven’t had Persian tea try it because it is amazing. They also did extras which I wasn’t charged for, let me keep the rug at their location until I moved and gave me a pad for my rug when I picked it up. They picked up the rug for free and even offered to deliver it, for free. For the work they do their prices are reasonable and fair.
This place is the best & if you need to buy, clean, or repair your Oriental rug take it here!!!

We called Reza’s to have some rugs cleaned — one very large, Oriental rug, and two small Egyptian wall –hanging rugs. The guys literally came over 30 minutes later — I mean, it was quick! It was great that we didn’t have to schlep the stuff over, especially since the one rug is really really big. In addition, the Oriental piece needed repairs. So far, so good. They cleaned up the fringe and re-​wove the damaged rug portions. The only reason that my review isn’t a full 5 stars is because it was pretty pricey. However, I didn’t price out other places so it’s possible that their rates are completely competitive. The other great thing I liked was that when they set up a time to deliver the repaired/​cleaned rugs, they ACTUALLY SHOWED UP AT THE TIME THEY HAD SPECIFIED. When does that happen?! Like, never — I couldn’t believe it. I would definitely use them again.

I needed a rug cleaned but really no way to transport it easily. Most places I called charged for pick up and delivery, but Reza’s didn’t. Best of all, they did a great job cleaning my expensive rug, and they picked it up and dropped it off as promised. They were very flexible with pickup and delivery, showed on time as promised (no 4 hour windows). I only used their rug cleaning service, so don’t know about the retail service, but I was extremely pleased with rug cleaning.

Rugs are a passion of mine and I have bought quite a few rugs from Reza’s, and am happy with all of those purchases. I have had them repair and clean quite a few others and the work has always been appropriate to the piece being handled. It is hard to find a rug merchant you can trust but Reza is it: he represents his merchandise fairly and accurately and his prices always make sense. If you are knowledgeable about rugs you will find many interesting pieces at Rexa’s. If you are new to the joys of antique rugs and need guidance I couldn’t imagine a better person than Reza to serve as a guide.
