I come here often. Great selection in the store is very neat and clean. They have great customer service. The food is cooked very well and I love the taste. I believe they do deliver but I often order inside and even have eaten inside. I definitely recommend it.

I am new to Chicago. I stopped in to buy lemon pepper fish. I ordered the wrong fish(catfish instead of perch). The clerk developed an attitude immediately. The manager chafed the order to perch but when I arrived home the fish was old and discolored! Is this how business treat customers in Chicago. I am disgusted that I fed my family this meal.

Amazing! This is the best place on the bitty Southside for shrimp. I went over to Lawrence’s Fisheries. Yeah… the place that has the best seafood in Chicago, since forever. No! Red Snapper makes shrimp the way they are supposed to be. The establishments best seasonings, batter, fry and serve. That is it. Not some thick encasing of batter with a moist shrimp on the inside. Thank you Red Snapper for preparing shrimp the way they are supposed to be. With the first bite I was taken back home to the coast of Georgia. We also had the chicken tenders, which were huge and for the price the quantity matches for both items. The only issue I have with Red Snapper. Is that nibble bite of coleslaw. It was not enough, but the slaw is damn good. I had delivery for this order and the delivery was pretty fast and we ordered through GrubHub. Will defo be ordering from them again.

Food was what you would expect. However as far as service the staff sometimes is less than professional. As I waited for my food I watched the woman cashier argue with one of the cooks behind the counter about making personal calls. This argument lasted at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile potential customers are leaving out of disgust. The cashier was so in her emotions that she didn’t notice! She was even short with some of the customers! If I go back here it’s because it’s on the way and I’ll get my food to go ASAP instead of dining in.

WOW– best prices, food is DELICIOUS and delivery was fast! Being Philidelphian, I tried their Philly Steak– GREATJOB– except they couldn’t bring themselves to put more than a skinny line of ketchup down the middle, lol– it’s a Philly thing, Red Snapper! Send ketchup packets, if you’re scrrrrd! The Chicago dogs were tasty, the wings really came with slices of bread and a good amount of fries. The double chocolate cake was from a bakery, it was the least«wow». Open to Midnight during the week, give this place a try!

I didn’t really care for the food. I got some shrimp and chicken and it was just another greasy seafood spot. Nothing more or less. Maybe I should have gotten the Philly cheese steak.

This place has just recently opened in Chatham. We found out about it do to the menu/coupon flyers they mailed out. From the looks of those, it looked like a fun new spot to try out. The good impressions disappeared from there. Strike 1 — The flyers had coupons on the flaps, but they were printed in such a way, that if you cut one out, you ruined TWO other coupons on the other side. Hmmm … Strike 2 — When we got to the place, they had stands with the same menu/flyer on it, but someone had hand cut all the coupons off of them b4 putting them on display. Who does that!!! Strike 3 — We ordered a gyro meal w/fries and a pop, used a coupon to get a free gyro with the order of a gyro, and ordered an Oreo & Cream Parfait dessert. There were only 3 other people in the place, but it took them FOREVER to get the order up and the cash register girl was borderline rude. When we got home the sandwiches had almost no meat and the onions and tomatoes were on there way out. The Oreo & Cream dessert was already out. Three Strikes and you’re out. We will not be back.
