This store is conveniently located not too far from my house and has saved me on several occasions by having just the exact plug or connector I need at the moment. Thus saving me from having to fight traffic to go to a Best Buy or wait a day or so ordering from Amazon. Customer service is extremely good. They know what they are doing and are proactive and friendly. Oh and they let me bring my bike inside.

I’ve gone here a few times for various cables and small electronic miscellany. It’s very conveniently located. Mostly I’ve found that Michael, who happens to be Asian-American — so you know who to go to, is very helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. There’s another guy who works there that I don’t like much. At least one time, a couple of months ago, I know that he assumed he had no stock on an item, after doing a very cursory, half-hearted search. As soon as I returned home, I found the item was indeed there that same day, by doing an online search on my computer of Radio Shack’s individual store inventory, which said that this store had several of the item I needed in stock. I don’t remember whether he apologized for the error or not, as it caused me an extra trip: it inconvenienced me. I generally don’t like his attitude. Stick with Michael and I think you’ll have a pleasant, efficient experience, and he may help you understand more about the technology you’re trying to make work, to enable it to happen. Try to avoid the other guy.

i was totally impressed by the customer service we got here. when the employees didn’t have the part that the cable guy said we needed, they searched online and one of them even ended up calling her brother to help figure out a solution for what we were trying to do to get our cable properly hooked up. turns out, we didn’t even need to buy anything and their advice totally worked. encounters like these boost my faith in humanity. :)

I stopped shopping at radio shack’s ever since Best Buy opened up. I just thought Radio Shacks now were for buying that last minute Christmas gift… ya know, the remote control car with a cord attached to it. Seriously, i came looking for an HD cord for my PS3. I priced them at Best Buy and they were all close to $ 100! here i got one for like $ 30. and it works! Good job guys. friendly service… good price!

This is my local Radio Shack and the folks in here are very helpful. I only go here if there is something wierd that I need such as a phone rechargable battery. I love that they recycle these too! The manager is really great and helps my husband with his scanner and programming it whenever he needs to. Sometimes it takes an hour to download but he doesn’t mind helping! Luckily I am in walking distance but there is meter parking out front that is usually available. Warning: do not park in the school lot next door because they will tow your car promptly.

No parking lot, despite being in an area that could offer one. Small store with knowledgeable staff. It’s usually busy, and often no one is cashiering, which is annoying. Prices are just a little higher than discount websites.

I am not a teckie– I am a technological idiot– and an unorganized one at that. I lost the cord that connects my digital camera to my computer and uploads the photos– I found out that this is a USB connector for a camera– THnx! Target does not carry them, best buy is anything but– so I headed to Radioshack hoping for some luck. –I did bring my camera with me(one star for me) –I found a parking spot(one star for me) –The sales person(I forgot his name) greeted me at the door(one star for RS) –They do not carry the USB(fancy word use-1 star for me) connector I need, but do carry three others.(1 star for RS decent stock, but not what I need) –The sales person recommended a store by name and address that he thought would have the part(two stars for RS– BIGHELP) I called my teckie brother, who laughed at my disorganization and trouble finding the piece. His comment–«why didn’t you just buy a compact flash memory card reader that can be connected via USB? That would have taken care of the problem. « I gritted my teeth so hard, I think I felt one crack. I then said– why didn’t RS tell me that? Idiot older brother’s response was«not everyone knows how to get around the problems– you sure don’t.» So, in the end, I am back on the road to target again today. Radioshack gets bumped down one star for not suggesting the alternative solution. However, they were kind and patient when dealing with me. I hate this stuff, and can be pushy and impatient when I have to deal with it. In the end, I earned 3 stars– if you count finding a parking spot, which given the neighborhood, I do. I will come back if I have to deal with some stupid tech thing again, they were nice!
