I like Potbelly’s. I will not be going to this location again. The sandwich was fine. The service, and they were NOT busy… was awful. My shake was slammed down on the counter without a straw. I had to ask for that(and no cookie on it!) The cashier was impatient; and when I asked for a receipt, it was like I asked for him to pay for my meal. Was nearly afraid to ask for a bag! I made it a point to be extra nice since it was obvious something was up… or maybe everyone there just simply shouldn’t be. The woman making my sandwich was ok; no one paid attention to her and I had to ask again for my malt. Sorry folks… just asking you to do your job… if I don’t do mine, I don’t get paid. Also thanks for charging me for a cookie I didn’t buy… maybe«only» $ 1.30…but it was not something I was getting, and yet I was charged for it… and it’s my money! LOVE paying for things I don’t get or even order/want…I won’t be back… Hopefully the locations near me don’t get this way… would be a shame.

Your sandwiches are nothing special, this location is always empty and your workers have heroine tracks on their arms. Can’t wait for you guys to close down so a good restaurant can take that prime spot

Terrible delivery. I know potbelly sandwiches are the best, But never get delivery from this place. Just go to jimmy john for delivery.

After a long afternoon of work and working or at the local xsport, I limped in tired and malnourished. I faintly overheard an order for«wrecking ball» and discovered the secrets that lie beneath the Potbelly menu. I couldn’t fight the temptation and ordered one. The Wrecking Ball is exactly what you’d think, a wreck with meatballs. It was rich and full of local flavor. My first bite marinated in my mouth and filled me with passion… Or was it happiness? The sandwich artist told erotic stories about his encounter with an older woman to his coworker the cashier, referring to her as a «MILF»(serious). I left feeling reborn. Limited parking. 4 stars.

I am obsessed with potbelly. And I’m sure this location is great most of the time… but I just ordered delivery of three sandwiches and two of the three were wrong! I think our sandwiches got switched with someone else’s. Luckily my family is easygoing, but the people that receive two TKY’s with nothing but extra extra hot peppers is going to be maaaaaad. Just be careful with your delivery orders Potbellys

I have not tried potbelly in years and was not certain which sand which to choose because they all looked so good. A very nice gentleman behind the counter sold me on a California turkey with avocado and cucumber. Yummy:) It was nice to see the staff restocking and picking up the place. It really felt clean.

Potbelly is always good, but live music at lunch was horrible and loud. It could have been ok but it was too loud to allow conversation.

Went here for lunch on a weekday. Got a biggie wreck and it tasted exactly what I was craving! There was no line and the staff was very quick(the place is also pretty large and can sit 20 – 30 pretty comfortably). I was most impressed by how friendly the people were.

Last week we had a mishap with our order and we received a call today from the General Manager Matt. He was very professional and went above and beyond. He sent the office lunch on behalf of PB. This was not expected but a very nice gesture. Thank you Matt!

Okay, I never thought I’d say this about a chain QSR –but this Potbelly is the perfect addition to the Old Town/Wells Street district. Before Potbelly opened its doors, there were few places where you can get a quick bite to eat in this area(aside from Chipotle in Piper’s Alley, a tiny Subway, and an even tinier mini-McDonalds). Most places on Wells are more of an «ordeal» in the sense that it’s a formal sit down, and minimum 45 minute commitment. Potbelly adds an easy option to get a quick Turkey sandwich, and carry on with your day in Old Town. This location is a great size(and has tall ceilings and a very airy feel), plenty of seats, very clean, and even a small outdoor picnic table in front. Food is the same as you can expect from any Potbelly(nothing terribly creative… But well perfected sandwiches, epic cookies, Zapp’s chips and yummy shakes). The staff so far has been very friendly and service was efficient. Ambiance is nice… They even had a guy singing/playing guitar in the front — so probably safe to say management is taking this opening seriously. My first experience was very pleasant — and I look forward to many more! I live just a few blocks over, so have a feeling this will be my new regular spot.
