This is THE place to grab a six pack of great beer in the neighborhood. The wine selection has expanded recently and, while it is still limited and overpriced, is now a viable option for Bucktown dwellers!

This place is terrible. I’ve bought wine in here before going to Coast for sushi down the block and it’s always a few bucks high. Selection is super meh. But what takes the cake is that he was charging $ 46.99 for a 4 pack of Bourbon County Coffee Stout. Most stores charge $ 24.99. Price gouge much?

This place is disgusting. Do not go in here. I went in here recently just to try and pick up some wine and when I walked in the whole place smelled like a raw dirty diaper. It was like something was rotting in the store and I had to leave because the odor was making me sick. I would never go to this place again. You’re better off getting price-gouged at the 7 Eleven across the street if you’re just looking for a beer or a bottle of wine.

Moe the owner rules! This place blew me away the first time I went in there and saw the beer selection. Moe is really into beer and has a great craft selection, all for very reasonable prices. I told him Mad Hatter IPA was my favorite beer and the next time I went in he had it in stock. He is always ordering new things and will take the time to help you find a beer you will love. Thanks to Polonia for offering me choices(unlike the 7 – 11 across the street). Cheers!

Funny to review a liquor store, I realize — but I gotta say: probably the best liquor store experience I’ve ever had. The gentleman working there was funny, interactive, and totally knew his inventory. We were grabbing some wine to bring with us to Coast Sushi, and he helped us pick one out. As our wait for our table at Coast turned into 45 minutes, we realized we should have gotten another bottle — so I scampered back over there — only to have him recommend an even better bottle — and to learn that he, Moe, is the owner. How cool. He’d been to France to check out the bottle he sold me. Awesome. Go here! :)
