I tried placing an order for super bowl weekend but I called about 20 times. And I got no answer I tried ordering online and I showed as it was offline. I’ve had pizza before from this location without an issue. Pretty disappointed

I wish I could give this location zero stars. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but I’ve had issues with this location many times. This is the last time I order from the Lawrence Ave one. Received my order(2 orders of 8 piece wings) a half hour late, it was COLD, and missing pieces. I assume they dropped a couple on the floor. I called to complain and asked for my money refunded. We’ll see if that actually happens. Terrible Pizza Hut location…

Preordered a pizza around 10:30am here to be delivered at 12:30pm. They open at 11am. 12:35pm came, and the driver called stating he will be another 15 minutes late. I live 1.4 miles(yes, I googled mapped it) from this location, and not being able to deliver on time is unacceptable. I called the manager asking for delivery credit, he said he couldn’t give me one so I just said to cancel the order. He said, «I will cancel it» and hung up. He didn’t even ask for my name or phone number. He was rude, and I will never order from this location again.

Would give it 1.5 starts if I could… Coworkers and I ordered from this location on a Tuesday afternoon. Ordered online so that smoothly, however, delivery took 70 minutes… we are just down the street. We called to check and the rep was very short with us and said it left long ago. Thanks to this when we got our pizza it was cold, but we were too hungry to care at that point. Definitely do not recommend this location.

Timely orders, usually delivered faster than the estimated time shown online. Download the app to discover deals. Just tried the stuffed pretzel crust pizza, and I loved it!

One star because my order was correct but everything arrived cold. I live about five minutes away from this place by car. Stuck at home for the day and ordered a pizza and bread sticks. Everything showed up room temperature/borderline cold. The sauce on the side was definitely cold. I called to complain about it immediately and was told I could have a new pizza sent to me but I would have to wait much longer than the hour I already had. You mean to tell me that you will correct your mistake by forcing me to wait even longer for something I already paid and waited for? I said that I could not wait any longer but was refused any sort of credit at a later date. Thanks for the crap lunch and customer service.

No online ordering available so I had to call in. Women hung up on me for asking about a price check.

Absolutely horrible. Pizza barely had any sauce and the vegetables were almost dehydrated. Definitely not ordering from this location again.

Long time customer of this location always kind of put up with the attitude of the guy answering phones in the evening. Today I placed an order for delivery first was given attitude«delivery? It’s going to be an hour» I said fine I can wait and also asked under no circumstances they were to ring the bell once here. Responded with we will try I’ll ask. I emphatically pointed out that if they wanted me to pay for the pizza that they were to call and not ring the bell there is someone here sick that’s resting. OK we will call was the answer. I really didn’t feel confident that this simple request was going to be honored so I was going to look out for the delivery guy. They said an hour yet 15 minutes later guess what? DOORBELLRANG and a continuous ring! I was told my phone didn’t work. Interesting because I used it right away to call. No apologies nothing to make it up. Item was returned to location. Also this was the second chance given they didn’t follow directions last time and rang the bell also. Incompetence at it’s best!

This place sucks. They need some descent employees. I’ve been waiting 40 minutes for a pizza they said would take 10 minutes, and this lady named Janet is just talking away to her mom on the phone. Just great.

This my second time ordering delivery from this pizza hut. Now, I’m all for waiting but waiting way past the estimated time consistently is what brought my rating down. The first time I ordered I still did not have my pizza past the hour estimated time. I called the store and asked if it was on its way, I could not understand what she was saying back to me at all(it was not because of an accent or anything) just mumbling and then shouting when I asked her to repeat herself. I hung up and said thank you. About 20 minutes later, the pizza came. Of course, everything was pretty cold. This was also on a weekday afternoon. Second experience, on a Monday night, estimated time said 5:10, pizza did not arrive until 5:30ish(much better on time). Also realized there were seasonings on wings that were no on the last ones I ordered(a week ago). The pizza delivered was a thin crust when I did not select the thin crust option. It’s unfortunate to have a under preforming pizza hut in the neighborhood.

Hahaha Just do a Unilocal search for«Pizza Hut» in Chicago and the results are all the same — 2 stars for nearly every branch. And why? Because it’s shitty pizza from a shitty chain. Period. What do we expect, the delivery speed of Dominos or the piping-hot pies of Papa Johns? We’ve ordered from this location twice. The first time was ok… the pizza was hot, at least. Last night, when I ordered a large pie and cheese sticks at 7 p.m. and my order didn’t come until nearly 9 p.m., that was not cool. But the pizza was. When I called the location 20 minutes after my ‘za was supposed to arrive, the manager informed me they were short staffed and the wait time was now up to 2 hours. My mouth was agape. 1. I’d never wait over 45 minutes for this junk. 2. I don’t know why any of us would. 3. I never will again. In all honesty, this travesty is my fault. I should know better than to order from The Hut.

I am a loyal fan of Pizza Hut, as I find the pizza tasty and the price right. I have ordered from this location on a weekday without issue before; Saturday evening, however, was a different story. I placed an online order at 8:05PM with a delivery time of 9:20PM. At 9:40PM, not having received the food yet, I called the restaurant location and asked for an update. I was told that my food was ready, but the location was incredibly busy and had lots of orders. It wouldn’t be until 10PM that someone would be able to grab my food to deliver. I understand that it’s busy on Saturday nights, but it would have been great if I would have had a realistic explanation of delivery. If I would have known it would be 2 hours instead of just over 1, I would have ordered elsewhere.

This place is always there when you need them. I have had many issues ordering directly with them over the years(rude employees, wrong orders, etc.) so I typically order only. Their delivery estimates are typically spot on and speedy. It is one of the cheapest pizza options in the area so you get what you pay for. They always have coupons. You almost never have to pay full price. Last week, we preordered a bunch of pizzas for a birthday party. The pizzas arrived exactly on time, and the delivery driver set them up for us in the party area.

Ugh, my experience was so terrible I emailed corporate about it: I am really unsatisfied with my order and likely will not order from this location again. My order was supposed to arrive at 8:32; called around 840 to check in when it hadn’t gotten there. I was told that it left at 8:24 and would be there soon and to call back in 10 – 15 if it wasn’t. I called back at 9 to check in and then again at 9:28. I was placed on hold for 17MINUTES before I was gotten back to. The associate who answered the phone was rude and didn’t understand why I was upset. I was then told(after being transferred while I was still talking) that my order was cancelled. At no point did I cancel my order. And if my order was cancelled, why was I told that it had left for delivery at 8:24? At this point, it was 3 hours and 15 minutes after my original order time. I was offered a credit of my order amount with out tax and delivery(15.00). My previous experiences with this place were fine, but I’m pretty sure that I’m never going to order from this location again.

If I could give it one and a half stars, I would. It is a Pizza Hut so the food is the same just like at any other Pizza Hut, but my review is about the management and employees. They’re pretty much rude and obnoxious and don’t know anything about customer service. I say replace the management at this place. Problem solved.

Well I don’t go to this Pizza-Hut location, but knowing that its a chained restaurant. It will taste the same at every other location. Cardboard. Cardboard. and Cardboard. I had their $ 10⁄20 Big Box or whatever the hell you call it promo they had, and my god, I should have went to Domincks and bought wheat bread if i knew what this pizza was going to tastes like. All bread, little to no sauce, and very little cheese. Now I’m sure all their pizzas aren’t like this as you can customized your own. But it just tastes bad. BAD. I wondered why I haven’t had pizza hut in a while, but now that I unfortunately ate one, I realized why. I wouldn’t even eat here drunk.

I called for carry out. Maybe I have an accent,(but hey ! this is Chicago, you have all sort of people.) and Brian(he has accent himself) can’t understand my name is Vince, and he put Victory«!!!» I thought to myself maybe he is new he don’t even quote the time for pick up. But I order in different Pizza hut before so I know its gonna take 15 minutes. I arrived there 15 minutes later, there is no one in the front register(I guess they take off the chime from the front door — read: Casey C’s complaint) I literally stand there 5 minutes trying to get attention from the kitchen crew. There were at least 3 different crew in kitchen that make eye contact from where I standing. Finally, An older guy(I am guessing delivery guy) come in by the front register and take a piece of paper from the register so I ask him if there is anyone that can take care of us. He went inside and told the manager there were LINE of people up front that need help.(I can hear they talking back there). The manager finally come out NEVER apologies for the wait and ring me up as nothing happen. REALLY. I understand maybe you short handed, maybe you need to meet your Labor Cost, or Food cost(the pizza was meatless), but I am sure you District Manager didn’t ask you to cut corner and SACRIFICE your customer. Cross train your driver so they can help out in the register, cross train your crew so they not only help you in kitchen but can ring up register properly(& politely), use weight to weight your premium items, so you wont under-portion or over-portion.

Rude and sarcastic service, turtle-speed delivery and terrible, cold food have come to define this Pizza hut location. The metered city parking lot, closet-like takeout reception area and busy location doesn’t really improve anything. But after receiving some decent coupons in my email inbox, I decied to roll the dice(see my casino Unilocal,I like gambling) and ordered a large pan pepperoni pizza for about $ 7.50, takeout. I’m a sucker for these deals, it’s genetically inherited. Being a late lunch person, I put my order in around 3pm on a Wednesday. The online receipt told me to pick up the pizza at 3:15 pm. I arrived at exactly 3:15 pm walked in the door(ding) and no one was at the counter. Judging by past reviews, this is the norm. But I was greeted within about 30 seconds by a female and was paid up within another minute or so. I walked in with a pretty hard look on my face just to see the reaction and was still greeted politely, which I reciprocated. After I paid she walked away silently with no indication of how long I would be waiting. Thankfully the next time I saw her, about two minutes later, she was bringing my pizza to me. It was very hot on the bottom of the box and I opened it and inspected it on the counter right there. It looked good, topping was correct, so I left. I got home and started eating and was pleasantly surprised to be eating a pretty good Pizza Hut pizza. It’s always been very greasy and the pepperoni added to that, but it still tasted fresh and the crust was firm, dense and buttery. One problem I’ve had here in the past was undercooked crust. But I have only bought stuffed crust, this was my first traditional pan pizza here. I was bombarded by thoughts of what the first Pizza Hut location’s pizza must have been like. Probably outstanding. The four star rating is based on my March 2011 carryout experience solely. The pizza, service and overall experience were very good compared to what I have read about this location. I have a car, so I very rarely have pizza delivered and cannot expound about that particular service. I was there at a downtime so I have no real reference on what it’s like there when it’s busy. But my advice for pizza lovers on big game days: Digornio.
