I wouldn’t buy my jewelry anywhere else. I trust them completely and they do an amazing job in creating your «one of kind», ideal, «what girls dream of» custom ring. Every ring I’ve ever purchased or had custom made by Pia’s Gems has turned heads and became the conversation piece of the evening.

I’ve been going to Pia’s Gems on & off over the last several years. They are fantastic to work with, communicate clearly and are up front about timing and when I should expect a phone call to pick up my item (s). I’ve trusted them with everything from repairing my husband’s priceless confirmation necklace to reshaping rings, and I have yet to be disappointed. Will continue to go to Pia’s for years to come!

I am actually a jeweler myself, so I’m quite the critic when it comes to jewelry knowledge. Pia and Ari, are outstanding jewelers with an extensive background in diamonds, precious gems, jewelry design and craftsmanship, and they are also quite creative and artistic. They exhibit the following; they are honest jewelers, low pressure and helpful, provide great values on quality items, quality craftsmanship and the whole 9 yards.

I walked into the store in a bit of a panic because the engagement rings I ordered from another company never arrived. It was Thursday and the party was Saturday night.
They were incredibly helpful in finding what I was looking for. A Claddagh ring of some sort, which surprisingly a lot of jewelers don’t carry.
They were able to put in the order and have it ready on Saturday, just in time. They were easy to chat with and didn’t hesitate when I said it was for my partner, an experience different from what I got from other jewelers surprisingly.
In the end we had a fantastic night and everybody loved the rings.

Pia and her brother Arie were super nice and helpful! They were able to re-​size my great grandmothers platinum ring in just an afternoon. They also steam-​cleaned it to a spectacular sparkle! Very pleased with the price and service; will definitely be going back for future work and purchases!

Pia and Arie are very knowledgable about gems and precious metals. I came in a few years ago to buy my fiancé an engagement ring but didn’t know where to begin. They were very patient and taught me what I needed to know about diamonds, rings, settings, etc. I got a great ring that everyone still compliments my wife on. When I compared the ring I bought to similar ones at the mall stores, I realize that I got a fabulous deal.
We also bought our wedding rings at Pia’s. Those were also a better deal than what we were offerred at a jewelry store in Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
Best of all, when we are on our way to the Art Institute or to Millenium Park, we stop by and get our rings cleaned and polished for free.

Pia and Arie at Pia’s Gems are both fantastic. They are kind and helpful, patient with someone who knows nearly nothing about fine metals and gemstones. They were both more than willing to take all the time my fiancé and I needed and answer any questions we had no matter how seemingly trivial or silly. We left there knowing significantly more than the small amount of knowledge we walked in with and never were made to feel dumb or rushed.
Though we did end up getting the diamond we were looking for elsewhere, I will be back soon to have them help design and fabricate a pendant for my mother. Much of the jewelry they have for sale was designed and fabricated by them, and is made available at good prices.
Next time you are fine piece of jewelry, an engagement ring or otherwise, make Pia’s a stop on your list. They are located right inside the door on the southern end of a room full of jewelers.
