Chef Clogs at Payless?
Yes! Who would have thought Payless would not only have my shoe size, 13, and actually have chef clogs too! That is right folks, Payless carries chef clogs (made by Airwalk out of all brands) but they have them. And the sizes range from 8 to 14 too, for those of us who wear big socks. Woo Hoo!
I even called them before I made the trek out there and they not only found the size 13 clogs, but they reserved them for me too. Customer Service Extraordinaire!

It’s small, but I never had a problem shopping here. Sometimes I’ll go in and no one will ask me if I need help, and other times I’ll be asked twice, but that’s not a big deal to me. Always finding a bargain and it’s only a few block away. Woo! If only it was just bigger.

oh my god, people, get off my back and just let me shop! they actually had some cute stuff in there this time– scarves, boots, tights– but this lady would not get out of my face! i know she was just trying to be friendly, but seriously, her incessant chirping in my ear drove me out of the store. i might have liked to try on those boots if i had a moment to think to myself. sigh.

The cutest pink platform espadrille: in my 7.5 size, on sale with a bargain price tag and there is only one shoe, singular (left, no less)! How they lost only the right shoe I haven’t the slightest clue… maybe some Cinderella festishist with only a right foot fell in love and ran off into the sunset with only the single right shoe?
The Poor salesguy tells me it is no use– I must buy either an 8 (too big, I could twist a delicate ankle looking like a kid playing dress up in mom’s shoes!) or squeeze into a too-​tight 7 (already unraveling) or I have a choice of a wonky two different shoes of two different sizes with a free pimp walk limp… How Helena Bonham Carter. No Way.
Tragic, I tell you.
Feeling like Cinderella’s wrong-​footed sister sans gangster limp (I strut in heels like a supermodel daaarling) I left feeling deprived.
Perhaps if you have a single left foot sized 7.5 you will have better luck?
