Found them through Apprentice, and have got a really great service from Patricia. Had my double process Hi-​lights done. Quality is very good. People are polite. True day makers!

I moved to Lincoln Park in August from the suburbs and was really hesitant to find a new place to get my hair done. Patricia’s salon is a few blocks away from me so I thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did!
Ever since my first consultation Patricia has always taken the time to ask what I want to do with my hair, explain the process thoroughly and make wonderful suggestions to help make my vision for my hair possible. I’ve had horror stories where you have a vision of what you want your hair to look like and it turns out wrong — that’s not the case here!
Patricia is extremely talented and professional, I highly recommend her! She does an amazing job and I will never go to anyone else to do my hair! Her and her staff are always so incredibly friendly and sweet and the salon is gorgeous!

This is a lovely place in Lincoln park to have your hair done. They are friendly, polite, unpretentious and very professional. I had balayage color done by Michelle who did an outstanding, expertise job. Chic, natural looking — no stripes– and perfectly blended to grow out beautifully. Perfect fabulous color. I’ve had balayage done in other very high end salons but this is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Michelle skillfully and confidently painted my hair with artistic flair. I’d return here without hesitation.

Michelle is excellent. I cant say enough to good things about her and the salon. 3 weeks after my cut and color it looks like I just had it done yesterday. She was able to fix my year and a half of really awful cuts and color elsewhere. She is really really good!

Can’t say enough good things about Patricia Marie Salon and their stylist, Michelle. Everyone was so warm and friendly. This was the first time I went to a new stylist in nearly a decade, so naturally I was a little apprehensive, but Michelle did a great job. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but trusted Michelle’s expertise and ended up absolutely loving my haircut. Never once have I had so many people people notice my new haircut. She did a great job. I will definitely be back!

The only place I go to for a cut in Chicago. Nice, small salon with about 5 or 6 chairs. Good music and even better people. Ask for Caitlin. Never been disappointed.

I was trying this place on a recommendation and really wanted to love it. I Got my color done here with Patricia Marie. I had an appointment and waited 30 minutes to be seen…(no one checked in with me to apologize about the lateness or give me an idea of the wait time) I almost walked out but decided to try it anyway and have a good attitude. I Showed a picture of the colors and explained exactly what I wanted and it didn’t come out close to what I wanted. She was very nice and offered to fix it once I was honest with her about my disappointment but unfortunately trust is lost quickly when it comes to my hair! I’ll be going back to my old stylist to get it fixed.

Great volume, super finish for hair that comes down to the waist. all within 20 min. Totally worth it!

I’ve kept my look pretty much the same for quite some time so recently I decided to switch it up a little since my year of weddings (my own and attending almost a dozen) is wrapping up. My normal awesome stylist is just a cut guy so when I met Michelle K. and she told me she was a color specialist (but she does it all) then I decided to pay her a visit.
I’m so glad I did because she was able to do an awesome job updating my look with her amazing Balayage skills. Now I’ve added some subtle warm ombré to my fresh lob so I am actually somewhat trendy for at least a week or two, since I’m bad at keeping up with those things. She listened to what I was envisioning and helped me land on what I wanted even though I was struggling to describe it to her, and then she executed my wishes flawlessly.
But the salon itself is beautiful! Tucked onto one of my favorite LP streets, the interior is gorgeous and clean. They offer an entire range of services to meet you any beauty need and it was a breeze making an appointment. I will definitely be back. Thank you, ladies!

I normally don’t write many reviews unless I feel they are warranted, but my hair is one thing that I am obviously very sensitive about.
After moving to the city a little bit over a year ago, I’ve found it quite difficult to find a place that gives a great guy’s cut (sorry– can’t speak for girls). However, I have seen Caitlin several times now and she is absolutely fantastic. She listens to what I am asking for, and will often ask for my feedback throughout the cut. Every time I come in she will ask what I want and remembers exactly what I am sensitive about.
Not only is Caitlin great, but Patricia and the rest of the staff is friendly and warm every time I come in. Nothing but an overwhelmingly positive experience here!

As a recent LA transplant, I have to say how refreshing it is to find a friendly, authentic, and reasonably priced neighborhood salon. I came in to see Michelle K. to remove the brassiness of a faded color and ended up getting a root touch up and a gloss treatment. Unfortunately, this review is not for a cut, and I know that’s what everyone cares about, but I will definitely be back for that.
Although Patricia Marie’s already wins 5-​stars for their pinterest-​gasmic space, I’ve always believed that stylist make the salon and Michelle truly cares about helping you achieve the best you and going the extra mile. Aside from me showing her images of the color I wanted, she pulled up extra pictures to make sure we were on the same page. I was immediately impressed by how thorough she was. We’ve all had those horrible experiences where the stylist nods along to your request and your hair turns out nothing like you requested… but don’t worry because she’ll keep you from making a mistake too. Since I had just moved to Chicago the week before, Michelle welcomed me into the neighborhood and gave me a quick rundown. Throughout our session, my favorite part is how Michelle becomes your beauty bff as she was welcoming with all my hair care questions and even worked with my budget to recommend products and yes even the drugstore ones. She recommended some of the products at the salon (because I had asked about them) but it was more informative and never felt pushy.
Here comes the best part! I was debating a conditioning treatment during our session but decided against it since it wasn’t my usual treatment. As it started to POUR outside, I dreaded leaving the salon being completely unprepared because it’s not the norm in LA to keep an umbrella in your purse… Anyways, Michelle offered to let me try the conditioning treatment for free so I can stick around a little longer and wait out the rain. That is THOUGHTFUL GENUINE LOVING customer service. My hair smelled heavenly afterwards and it’s been super soft and healthy. I also got $ 20 off for being a first time client which made it extremely affordable to take the leap and try a new salon. Plus, Michelle even showed me how to curl my hair with a wand since I have thick hair and I always end up leaving with shirley temple curls. Not this time! Michelle styled my hair to give me the Cali beach waves I have always wanted. I walked out feeling like a million bucks.
I’ll definitely be stopping by for my next hair cut and I truly hope it’s as amazing as the experience I’ve had with the color. I am ready to commit to a neighborhood salon.

LOVE Michelle K! She has been cutting my hair for 2 years, and I’m very picky when it comes to stylists. Michelle really has a great sense for what your hair can do, and what will flatter your hair type and face. I have annoyingly thick hair that is difficult for me to style, but too much texturizing and layering can leave the ends wispy. Michelle always does a great job maintaining the balance between keeping length, but shaping my hair so that its very intuitive to style!

Really great first experience here! I booked a blow out for a wedding. Michelle was sweet and a great hair stylist! I was very happy how it turned out. I’ll definitely be going back! ($ 20 off first time client makes for a $ 20 blow out… Can’t beat that!!!)

Had a great appointment with Michelle! She got my preferred color blonde just right and didn’t pull the tangles when she brushed which I appreciate since I have long hair :) everyone was professional and sweet. Will definitely be going back!

I had such a great experience here today that I can’t wait to tell all my friends! I came in for a long overdue color touch-​up after having balayage a few months ago.
My stylist was Alassandra and she was warm, quick and friendly. I had a bit of a time crunch and was worried about getting a full head of highlights in about two hours but she was the epitome of professional and took enough time in my consultation to know exactly what I wanted. I brought a few photos of the look I was going for and she had my color mixed and ready to go in no time.
I was a little hesitant about the color when it was wet but after having it blown out and playing with it in the sunlight I know she got it exactly right. It’s only been a couple hours since my appointment and I’ve already gotten tons of compliments.
The salon itself is very cute — very comfortable and inviting and I can’t wait to come back for a haircut and blowout in a few weeks.

Stopped in here earlier today to use a coupon I was given by a friend, which I was using on a conditioning treatment. I haven’t had one of these before so I can’t exactly compare it to anything, but I am loving how soft my hair feels already!
The owner (Patricia I’m assuming?) welcomed me, hung my jacket, got me a glass of water, and had me fill out a client info sheet while we were chatting. I had mentioned that the line was too long at Starbucks for me to go before my appointment.
She started the treatment and asked about my hair and was really friendly. While I was under the dryer, one of her employees came in, and she had the employee run to Starbucks for us (seriously how sweet!)
She has a background in a high end salon from the Gold Coast, and her salon here in Lincoln park is an awesome little spot that gives great service and makes you feel pampered without the attitude of the Gold Coast. It’s a small team of people that work there and I would safely assume that they’re all equally as awesome!
At the end, she suggested a blowout, and although I didn’t really need one today (had to get home to let my cleaning person in) she wasn’t pushy about it. Likewise she was very informative about what product she was putting in my hair after the treatment but didn’t try to upsell me to oblivion.
I will definitely be back for another conditioning treatment and would love to try a blowout when I have more time. Bonus for me it’s just around the corner :)

Wow best haircut and color I have ever had!!! Patricia and her staff are very friendly and great at what they do! Best location in the heart of lincoln park! Patricia’s niece is adorable and loves handing out dog treats to the neighborhood dogs. A great family affair !!! Love love love
