LOVE papa johns, favorite pizza. Been ordering from the same location for like 4yrs n have never had a problem. Delivery has been super quick lately, was never a long wait before but the standard 40 to 60mins wait, but lately it’s been a lot quicker. I’ve had the same delivery guy the last few times and he’s very nice and chipper

If it was possible to give zero starts i would give these people zero star. Their workers are super unprofessional. I ordered hundreds of pizzas from them sometimes they hang up the phone on my face without no reason. When i call them back they put me on hold and never respond the phone. Everytime there is a different price on the receipt. I am trying to warn as many people as i can and tell them not to order from these people. They dont deserve to make many from this neighborhood. Go elsewhere don’t give your money to these rude and unprofessional people. If you want to make this business better first fire Josh and retrain your workers.

They suck. Josh the«manager». I’d like to question the HR management who made him manager. Never going back.

DONOTORDERDELIVERY! TWOHOURSPLUS! There’s no warning that delivery will be extremely slow. Only after you place the order do you receive the estimated delivery time. Placed an order at 8 on a Thursday. I would not have ordered had I known 70 to 80 minutes was the estimated time. After waiting 90 minutes, I called the store. I was placed on hold. Twice the employee took me off hold only to immediately place me back on hold before I could ask about my order status. Once he finally checked my order he said to wait ten more minutes and then call back.(I assumed I would then to be told to wait another ten minutes.) At 2 hours I called again. At that point I learned that the issue was that I live in Evanston, not Chicago. My address is listed at Evanston. It’s an apartment building with the address listed on a giant neon sign on a prominent street. It is now 2 hours and 10 minutes. Pizza is allegedly on the way. No estimate of how long and implicitly blamed for confusing the driver with my address.

I don’t really understand the negative reviews here. What you see is what you get. You know what you’re ordering when you get Papa Johns. This location always get my order to me insanely fast… I’m talking 15 – 25 minutes. The delivery drivers are also pretty nice. The coupons are always great for when you’re on a budget! I continue to order here time after time for the ease and convenience. By the way, that chocolate chip brownie is TODIEFOR! Delicious and SUCH a great value.

For what it is, this Papa location is great. My pizzas are always made correctly and arrive quickly and hot after ordering. The store also has specials running constantly, so there is no need to pay full price for a pizza. Gotta love that garlic sauce…

Initially, I ordered from them often last year then they burnt three pizzas consecutively, so I stopped messing with them. Decided to give them a try again tonight after months of not ordering and asked for breadsticks with my order. They weren’t cooked all the way. You could pull them apart and still see and smell the uncooked dough inside. I called back to relay my concern and they said they’d make sure they were«well done». They sent the guy again with more uncooked breadsticks. I checked before he left to demonstrate that they were still doughy. I felt like I was being patronized even though I’ve never given a complaint to this place before despite their track record. I was also very polite, so I suggested that they should turn the oven down because they were simply browning the outside but to leave them in a bit longer to fully cook. Breadsticks don’t have to be burnt or rock hard, but they should be fully expanded and flaky on the inside. Bread that takes a bit of effort to break apart and is really chewy isn’t cooked. I gave him both orders of breadsticks back. It sucks because breadsticks are nearly the cost of another pizza(breadsticks were $ 6.50, pizza was $ 9). Just stick with Giordano’s.

I’m glad this place is here. Haven’t had any issues yet. Usually really fast delivery. Good specials. One note tho: one garlic sauce isn’t enough for a large pizza! :D gimme all of that!

Called today, was having trouble ordering online with a Groupon code. The person who answered the phone said«keep trying» and hung up. Rude and could careless about customers. AVOID

I am almost embarrassed to admit, with so many great choices in this town for pizza, that I ate here. But I did, and like that one time in college where I did that one thing, I will regret that ill thought-out decision. I don’t really expect a lot from pizza. I eat Giordano’s often and it’s good, not great but solid and reliable. I figured I would use the $ 11 coupon for any large at the newly opened Papa John’s and try it out. Foolish mistake, one not to be repeated. Never, ever, again will I eat here. Toppings from the bell peppers, to mushrooms, to meat to cheese all looked like they were sent through a food processor and diced to nearly unidentifiable microscopic pieces. Sauce was WAY too sweat. Food was essentially flavorless. Well, lesson learned. Let’s put it this way, the frozen pizza’s I get from Trader Joes ROCKED compared to a «freshly made» pizza from this pie place.
