today it’s over 90 degrees outside and there was no air condirioner, literally an inferno!

Excellent customer service! An employee greeted me as he was going out for a break, and another worker greeted me at the station with a smile. As I was checking out the credit/​debit card machine was taking a little long to process my card and the employee at check out apologized for the wait, which wasn’t even that long tbh. I talked to a total of 4 employees who greeted me with all smiles. Kinda freaky but a little cute. Lol Just felt a really positive vibe here and not a lot of people write «good» reviews. Good job panda customer services!

5÷8÷2016 — Wish I could rate the food at the Lincolnwood location, but I can’t. Placed the order, got confirmation that the order was being prepped and was told it would be ready for pickup in 35 minutes. Got to Panda with a car load of people eager to eat and asked for my order. The kid behind the counter looks at me with this blank stare. He grabs the order receipt from the counter and says «sorry we don’t have your order ready yet.» (What he meant to say is they had not even looked at the order yet even though I was told it was being processed) Mind you, the restaurant was empty. He and another employee start scrambling to start the order. Oh look they don’t have all of the items I ordered. «Can you wait another 10 – 20 minutes for us to cook the food you ordered.»
I just walked out. How incompetent do you have to be to fail like that. Good job at managing your store manager. Should have paid close attention to the reviews before I decided to eat there. #PandaExpressFail

Took a drive through take out white rice bowl with Kung pao. They forgot to give me a fork or spoon, I came out of my car and server didn’t think I was telling the truth. She had to inspect my bag. No apology. And no fortune cookie in sight!!! Where is exceptional dining experience???

This Panda Express is located on my route to and from work. If I’m hungry, and craving Orange Chicken this is where I always stop.

I used the drive in numerous times. Today I ate in the store. Man! this place is dirty! It was around noon, lots of natural light thru large windows. You can see all the spots, traces on windows, food leftovers on the tables, salty muddy dirty floor… Even the display case was smudged. Everything was disgustingly dirty. The staff was nice, positive and smiling, but hygiene showed neglect. I doubt I’ll eat there again for some time. It takes time to erase the ugly picture in my head.

The food was either empty or almost gone. My food was dry with no flavor. They tried to give my granddaughter the bottom dregs of a pan of chicken that was all burnt or just fried batter no chicken. I said no. The Sobe water was connected to carbonation. I was in a hurry so we stopped at what was available.

Service has been «ok» most other times but the owner needs to hire more employees. On this particular occasion we waited about 30 minutes for teriyaki chicken.

One of thee worst fast food places ever, I would give it ½ star but that is not option on here. Now I know what Gordon Ramsey when he says «BLAND, BLAND, BLAND». The extra charge for a bigger plate was $ 2.50 I believe and it was totally not worth it. The rice was super bland and also cold. Stay away from the walnut shrimp for $ 1.00 extra –no taste whatsoever… And lastly the people working at this location act like they should be somewhere else because they do not care about serving you.

Place was dirty. All tables needed to be cleaned. When I told the worker he looked at me like i was crazy. Also very scanty choice of food and what was there did not look fresh.

If you go through the drive-​thru, they will mess up your order EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Completely unacceptable. Instead of going all the way back there, I tried to call, no answer. So over this place.

I have eaten a lot of fast food in my life. I have had many bad experiences across the board this one had to rate in my Top 5: Worst experiences ever. I don’t think I have been made to feel more like an inconvenience.
I ordered a two entrée meal with honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken with fried rice. The chicken was like rocks, it was so old my fork could even stab it to eat it. The shrimp was on the borderline of turning bad and the rice was rather dry and bland and a little on the colder side. Overall the food was not good.
I don’t think I was ever made to feel more uncomfortable by an individual. If looks could could kill i would be dead as I interrupted her while she was cleaning windows. No real sense of urgency to help me out — just continued to the windows. Once she did get back to behind the the attitude continued. I just wanted to order my food and get the heck out of there
Panda, I am sorry I was such an inconvenience to you and your staff so I do not blame you for serving me garbage and being rude to me. i won’t disturb any of your locations any more OK.

I went to eat there last month. Had the worst experience there ever. Food was cold and staff looks like that don’t want to be there. The manager lady had an attitude the whole time we were there.

Food is awesome. Service was very poor today. Waited 21 minutes in the drive thru for three 3 entrees. I hate when they park you and forget about you!

A new place i find out! Fast ! Good! Most important that it was really close to my school!!! I gonna bring my classmate to eat here!

I like the spicy and sweet chicken they have. To be honest Panda express is better than any chinese buffee all over the country! At least we know the quality of the food is always always good.
This location is nice and clean.

The fortune that was in my fortune cookie said, «Over indulgence hinders mind & body.» Well, my body and mind won’t be hindered from Panda Express since I won’t be returning here.
First I’ll start out with the good. I found the employees here to be extremely friendly and helpful. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a nice young lady who asked if I was ready to order or if I’d like to take a few moments to check out the items available. Then a minute or two later while I was still looking over the offerings a young man asked me if I’d like to try any samples of the items. So for one friendly employee I say good job, but to have 2 of them in this day and age of bad customer service is really an accomplishment!
Another positive aspect that I observed was that the store was nice and clean even though they had several dine in customers and seemed to be doing a decent amount of business. One thing I really liked was that the cooler where they store the ingredients has glass doors and you can look in to see where your food is stored. In addition to the glass doors the containers that the ingredients were stored in were clear so you could see the ingredients themselves. The ingredients looked nice and fresh and thankfully nothing like the ingredients you see on episodes of Kitchen Nightmares where other restaurants are serving severely spoiled food. So thank you Panda Express for making it easy to eat your food with no worries about freshness.
Now, it’s time to get on to the review of the food flavors where unfortunately things go downhill. The best item I had was a chicken eggroll. I was really surprised when I bit into it since I was not expecting much from it. It was not blow your mind fabulous, but it was suprising really good. For the main part of my meal I had honey walnut shrimp (for shrimp entrees add $ 1 extra which is no biggy in my opinion), orange chicken and chow mein. I thought the honey walnut shrimp was good and couldn’t really find anything to complain about, but it just didn’t blow me a way. The orange chicken was unusual. Luckily I like food that has kind of a vinegary twang to it so I thought it tasted ok even though it was very twangy. It just didn’t really taste like orange chiicken so that’s why I’m not thrilled with it. As far as the chow mein goes it was a real letdown. I found it to be very bland and almost flavorless. It did have lots of vegetables in it which I liked, but it somehow managed to be very blandly flavored.
Next time I get a craving for Chinese food I’ll hit up one of the restaurants across the street that from the Home Depot’s parking lot. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it certainly wasn’t an experience that would entice me back.

The McDonalds of Chinese food. Convenient? Yes. I’d prefer a bit of inconvenience and better tasting food. It gave me the wimwams, so I pitched most of it out. What a waste. I won’t be back, but I should note that Christopher does not find this place as dreadful as I do, so It gets two stars and not one.

I’ve given this place a few tries, after having a successful try with it earlier this year, and I think they finally got up to par with other Panda Express locations. The great problems this location once had, seem to have been resolved all the times I’ve visited this year, and the Lincoln Village location has fallen off my ‘banned list.’ Just think of it as fast food Chinese, and you’ll enjoy. If you come here with the expectation of Chinese food like a restaurant, you will be disappointed.
BTW, Panda Express does NOT use MSG in any of their food, unlike what Jacob said. Just want to clarify that for everyone.
