I’m not naïve — I know I’ve probably eaten some bug parts in my 35+ years of dining out as an adult. But nothing prepares you for scooping into a heaping pile of Sweetfire Chicken Breast and discovering a roach leg sticking out. Yes — I returned the uneaten portion of my lunch, with my business card attached to the top of the container. No — I did not accept their offer for a refund when asked. I did, however, quietly suggest they immediately review the offerings in their serving line, specifically their brown rice, Beijing Beef and Sweetfire Chicken. No apology — just a dumbfounded look from the young lady at the register. No phone calls. Nothing. Done. Done forever.

Have eaten here a number of times. I didn’t have any complaints about the food. Found it convenient and fast which is what you want from a fastfood place. Unfortunately the main serving lady is one of the rudest people I have met in America. I live 2 minutes away from this location but am happy to walk out of my way to go to other locations to prevent her from ruining my day

Can you say food poisoning?! Because Panda has legendary orange chicken, I ordered it. Got back to my office, started eating. Once I put the orange chicken in my mouth, I felt like vomiting. I had to throw the rest of my food away. Not only did it taste like SPOILED chicken, but tasted like it to. Thus, this was my most painful start to food poisoning. I went on Oct 26th, 2015 around noon. Be warned.

Customer service is not nice. A few line cooks and servers are pleasant, but the main checkout lady is downright rude and unappreciative of her customers. Beef cuts not very good. Chicken and Mushroom is tolerable, verging on tasty. Walnut Shrimp surprisingly pleasing. Takeout a better option for this location, as clientele is sketchy. Order the walnut shrimp a la carte to-go and you’re «safe» on all levels.

Ate at this restaurant during business travel to Chicago. Ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp, Kabori Beef, Orange Chicken, with Chow Mein. An hour and a half later, I became violently ill and could not keep anything down for 2 days.(And Yes, I’ve had my flu shot.) ‘Nuff said. Carolyn D.

I came to get some food here before seeing a concert, and all I can say was that it was decent. I got one order of orange chicken and one order of Chinese spare ribs with a side of fried rice. The rice and the chicken were very good, but the Chinese spare ribs were bad. There was barely any meat on them, let alone meat that tasted good. Do not get them. And correct me if I’m wrong, but are spare ribs even Chinese? My disappointing experience with the ribs caused me to go directly to Walgreen’s. I got a box of cookie dough bites, a box of lifesavers gummies, and a pack of Necco wafers. When I ate the pack of Necco wafers, they tasted so terrible that I needed to eat something else, but it was already time for the concert. I had to spend the whole concert blinking back tears. I ate the rest of the candy at intermission.

I love going to Panda Express the food is good and so is the portions, but the reason for my two stars is the service is terrible! I arrived half hour after they were open and nothing was ready! I asked how long for an item they say 5 mins I thought that was fine but almost 15 mins passes and that’s basically half a lunch break! They would be a 5 star service if there was more people working or if they would keep up with the lunch traffic that occurs as soon as they open!

If you fill out the surveys online, this location is store #1102. You’ll need that because their receipt tape hasn’t printed accurately FORYEARS. Seriously, most of the cash register receipt doesn’t print and hasn’t since 2011. Anyway, typical Panda in a busy spot – a block from State Street and across from a plethora of other fast food options. Ladies, keep your purses close. Guys, watch your wallets. Over the years, I’ve eaten here and love the fast paced vibe and people watching. But«dicey» is an excellent(and kind) word. The food is typical Panda, and this location keeps up their standards.

It’s fast food Chinese. The Kung Pao chicken was nice and spicy, the fried rice was pretty tasty, and green bean chicken was a bit greasy but decent. It’s a nice change of pace from the traditional burger and fries.

Nice place that has tasty Chinese food that doesn’t pinch the pocket. Portions are generous so a good idea is to take it in a box from the beginning. I like the orange chicken and the kung pao chicken. The rice is slightly dry but has a burnt sort of flavour that I like. Recommend!

Worst chow mein ever. Really, it was THAT bad. The orange chicken was pretty bad too but anything tastes good after their terrible chow mein(and yes I usually frequent other panda locations)

Dicey crowd but addictive food, I don’t come here often but when I do I indulge in the perfectly addictive fatty gooey dishes; to be fair they have more baked things as well but who wants that when getting fast food Chinese. As my weight has decreased in life I graduated myself from the heap of steaming 3 sides to the more slimming 2 sides(which is still more calories than any person should eat at one time). Good for a quick affair, nice location next to El and Michigan Ave.

The Chinese Chipotle. Americanized and your friends might make fun of you, but it’s still good nonetheless. The service is quick, location is convenient, and the value for your money is good.

It’s quick, convinent, and highly friendly. I am a normal customer to Panda Express where the employees who knows my face and how I order my usual meal.: Chow mein, Beijing Beef and 3 Pot Stickers. This is a clean location than any other Panda Express restaurants that I’ve been to in the Chicago area. They’re always cooking, on-the-move and always have a smile on their faces; in which I always like to see when I return back! :)

This branch has more options compared to other Panda Express stores. I always get fried rice and 2 entrees and the rice is not enough. :)

This was a very clean location. I was the only customer there at the time and my food wasn’t very fresh. I was just really hungry so I didn’t even complain. I really should have because I ended up tossing half of my food. The chow mein was very dry I couldn’t even eat it.

I don’t know why I bother taking my mom here and sharing a two-entrée meal with her. I also don’t know why I’m writing yet another review for a chain with food that doesn’t move up or down my waist… but lingers there. Food is not horrible, and I have been here a few times for next day post-drinking cuisine. Back to sharing a dish with my mom. I take her here once or twice when she visits, and she thinks it’s fabulous. Ok, maybe it’s not fabulous, but it’s a hit when she meets me on my lunch break. The two entrée dish is too much for me but for a hungry person(i.e. my mom) it’s just right. I’d say that the size could be shared, but I normally opt for the panda bowl and replace the rice with the veggies. Yum.

a guilty indulgence, when i absolutely have to have rice with something soy-ey for lunch, and there’s no time to run down to jackson. even when i know the outcome will be less than satisfying, this place is so darned convenient, i find myself going in and ordering their panda bowl. their orange chicken really isn’t bad, and if you’re lucky, the mixed veggies won’t be totally celery, but may actually contain a broccoli stem or two. the tofu with veggies isn’t so bad either. but even though i see them scoop their white rice out of a rice cooker, i swear it consistently tastes like it’s been stored in cardboard. but like i said, in a pinch it does the trick, cause a burger and fries just can’t satisfy a rice jones.
