This place is my favorite ice cream place EVER. I’ve been coming here for about 3 or 4 years now. It’s all homemade and cash only. The only thing is that you never know when they’re open. I’ve gone there a few times to find they were closed. The ice cream is so great that the times don’t even bother me.

I would give this place 10 stars if their hours were more consistent. I cannot rave enough about their paletas, they are amazing! It is just that every time I drive there I notice they are closed. Other than that, when they are open, they have the best, most fresh paletas around. The abuelita paleta is a favorite of mine.

The Hostess Ice cream!!! Tasted just like it and they had pieces of the hostess cream pie mixed together. a scoop is only $ 1.75 and its huge!!! its practically two scoops. They offer over 15 different soft serve ice creams. and a bunch of the frozen fruit pops, with or without cream. I will definitely be coming here more often now that summer has picked up. Keep in mind — they are cash only!

I have been living in the area for a year and a half and had not stopped by before. I’m glad I finally did. Service was great & friendly, unlike another place further east on 18th. I had the walnut flavor yogurt with fruit(strawberry, bananas, guava, apples, and grapes) & topped off with walnut, granola, & honey. It was so yummy. You are able to choose what goes in and what you put on it. My daughter gets the regular yogurt with strawberries and bananas with only granola on top. My son usually just gets the nachos. Prices are reasonable. We have begun to come here more often. I took 1 star away not because of the food or the service, they are both great, but due to the fact that they do not take credit/debit cards. It’s a cash only place. The menu is extensive and besides homemade yogurts, they also have many flavors of ice cream, paletas, sandwiches, aguas frescas and other snacks.

I just discovered this little ice cream shop in Pilsen near 18th and Wood St, right across from Harrison Park. I am going to be coming here as often as possible now because I just learned that they sell delicious cinnamon coffee for only $ 1!!! This is a steal other places in the area that charge almost two dollars just for a small cup of coffee. They also have a tasty and expansive variety of homemade ice creams and yogurts. Also, the lady who runs the store is very nice and friendly! My only complaint is that they don’t have a very big cookie selection, but when you add the other above factors in, I don’t really mind as much! Support your local businesses and check it out, way better than going to Baskin Robbins, DQ or Dunkin!

Came here to cool off from the heat and was pleased with the overall good service and their yummy selection of treats. We were in the mood for paletas but they also have ice cream and aguas frescas. They have a wide assortment of paletas. I finally settled on the guava, which was chock full of guava pieces… delish! My friend had the chili cucumber. Also very yummy although the saltiness got to be a bit strong after several bites. I will definitely be back to try more of their tasty paletas.
