Dr. Ukoha operated my mom, who was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. If you look up this type of surgery, you might have second thoughts about actually undergoing it. It’s a major surgery, very difficult to perform and with a lengthy and slow recovery. You need an outstanding surgeon to perform it, and we were very, very fortunate to have Dr. Uhoha (and his fellow, Nicky (last name?)) do it.
He is highly experienced, skillful and knowledgeable, and he cares a lot about his patients. My mom’s recovery is going well because of this, and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Ukoha. Cook County is lucky to have such a great surgeon!
