Great music(top 40) but really depends on the promotors of the evening. The best thing about this place is that it is open very late. Bring a group and have fun, don’t rely on meeting people at the bar. It’ll be dead earlier in the day. BYOB — Bring your own *b!%*hes. lol.

Man, this place has so much potential. Spacious dance floor, great fist-pumping music and an intimate ambiance. The issue, however, is with the crowd. Or rather, their lack of one. Dancing’s my jam, but I like to do it with other people thank you very much.

I wish I could give a higher rating, but Ohm was a disappointment. We arrived around 2am, and the place was pretty dead. The music was tight, and the go go dancers were pretty hot. The crowd is what it was lacking. I enjoy a nightclub that has a good dancing scene, but this one doesn’t. It def has the space for large crowds to dance, but when I went there, there was just a bunch of dudes standing in the corners holding their beers. The ambiance is pretty cool, but for some reason, people don’t dance on this place. It’s pretty dead, so I would only come back to check out the go go dancers again lol

I guess if I were a local… but nah, decent looking space with a good GM running the joint, but the crowd is super young and not pretty at all. Luckily, I went out with two women my age who had been in that scene a while(therefore, no pay to get in.) Honestly felt like a chaperone for the kiddies. Music was pretty good compared to the other spots we hit that night, though.

Ohm is the place to go if you want to stay out until 4 am. One of the few places in Wicker Park that offers this, it seems to be the place where everyone comes after leaving all the other bars. Don’t come too early because you will be standing around in an empty club like space. Ohm is made up of one big circle space with seating for bottle service, bars at every corner and a dance area by the DJ. They only take cash so don’t forget to stop by the ATM before getting in. Ohm also can charge a hefty cover but I always use a password to get in. If you know someone or are able to get on the list to bypass this cover charge then I would definitely suggest coming out to Ohm. There is an exclusive area that is on the top floor but I’m not sure how they determine when/who gets to go up there. Ohm can be quite the toss up but with top 40 music as the usual it can be a fun night.

I absolutely despise going to this place. I don’t like going here because I know that it won’t get«poppin» until 1−2AM. My friend came here last month to celebrate her birthday. She received a free bottle of champagne, but of course it was really just sparkling wine. We got there around 11ish and it was dead. When I walked through, the lady who checked me in said that if I checked in on Facebook, Foursquare, etc, I would receive a free drink. So when I approached the bar with my check-in, the bartender said I still had to pay for my drink. WTF? Also, it’s $ 30 minimum for cards. SERIOUSLY? I hate going to this place. The music is wack. It’s empty most of the time and it only gets full later at night because everywhere else is closing up. From previous experiences, my boyfriend and some other guys got into a fight at Ohm. One of my friends puked at the bathroom, but they kicked out a different friend for it. Please, just go to Empire, Estelle’s, Crocodile instead. You’ll have more fun throughout the night.

This place is so dead! Tables/lounge area is limited and looks cheap. To creepy guys… don’t come. Security will quickly escort you out.

I think it’s funny when people write reviews and point out that this nightclub attracts Asians. I’m curious to know why that is. You don’t read reviews about Vision being packed with mostly white people or that the Victor Hotel has a lot of blacks and if you go to V Live, you’ll be surrounded by mainly Latinos… If this comes off as being offensive, well it should because that’s my point! Six corners offers diversity from low end grunge bar to dance nightclub, fast food to expensive dining; you’re among the shorts wearing flip floppers to the mini skirt stiletto heels. In short, I love the Wicker Park night life! The Go-Go girls at Ohm can dance, the bartenders are attractive, and the DJ plays some good music. I like the layout, it never gets too crowded. There are seats that don’t require bottle service. A word of advice to the fellas: If I politely turn down your advances, step away and leave me alone. If you are persistant, I will publicly humiliate you. If you do not get the message, I’ll send in my boyfriend who works downstairs to finish you!

I’m not even sure why I’m writing a review of this place, as I got so wasted here I spent most of my time in the bathroom and don’t remember much after a certain point. yea, it was one of those nights… from what I do remember was that the place wasn’t crowded, and it was mostly our group that was there for a buddy’s bday that I had planned there. music was good old school hip hop with a decent sized dance floor. the bartenders were great and hooked us up with drinks and shots… probably why I don’t remember much after midnight… from what I heard afterwards, everyone had a good time. drinks were somewhat on the pricey side, especially for being in wicker park. but hey, it was good enough for me to get trashed on.

Ohm sweet Ohm lol If you have asian fever and like good music this is your place In my opinion, I am not into the whole asian over crowd, but the alcohol you pay for is strong enough to get you drunk, the staff is attentive, fun and festive, and best of all the music(for most of the times i’ve been there) has always been really good! Music: they play a lot of new music, but then they bring it back to the old school music, and by old school i mean poison, and if you don’t know that song by bell biv devoe, look it up, to new school like the dougie and rack city, So the music meets all age ranges! Plus I love when they mix old school with new school because sometimes you really get tired of the songs played on the radio! Full bar, a little pricey, but the alcohol is sure to hit you!

I went here for a friend’s birthday party and I guess we used her name as a password to get free cover. Apparently there was a $ 15 open bar deal but I didn’t know about it until after. In terms of music, the DJ was pretty good, mixing up classic hits and today’s top 40. The only gripe I do have is that he pays each music for 1 minute before switching to the next one. Kind of annoying if you wanted to enjoy your favorite dance song a little longer. Clientele: immediately I noticed that the majority of the clientele were young(30 years and younger) and Asian. Dance floor area is a mix of standing around and just dance. Funny thing is everyone who dances, clutter around the walkway and avoid the open area next to the DJ. Go-go dancers were hot and were really shaking it up. Definitely a plus right? Drinks were ok for $ 7 ea. and water is $ 3?! Can I just have water from the tap please? ugh. The glowing shots the waiter girls carried around are $ 4 each. Not bad of different flavors but they definitely leave your hands sticky. YUCK. Overall, I really liked the vibe of this place. It’s not perfect but hey, 3 separate bars for easy access to some drinks and a large space to dance it off with some nice couches? Not too shabby.

i just got home from this place. i’m buzzing but feel the need to talk about it while still fresh. this place is like chinatown on saturday night. its ok for me to say that as i’m chinese. This place was just full of asians and was empty — I was there from like 11PM to 2AM and the place never got full at all. maybe it was because it was rainy and cold, or maybe this place was just not good. also, my friend got insulted there by the bouncer. my friend is indian and the bouncer told him to get some tandoori chicken for him. boo to ohm. place is ohm my god, horrible.

Our first night out in Chicago and we were bar hopping but noticed that everyone kept walking into here and not leaving. This must be the spot. We walked up expecting some BS about us not knowing someone etc, like you would expect at clubs in other major cities… NOPE. The girl at the door said 5 dollar cover and we were in. The go-go dancers were hot, it was full but not totally crowded, everyone was dancing the music was a good mix of house and top 40. It was one of the first times I went out in another city and actually had a good time at a club. We actually met some random people out too.

Beware of this place. Went here for a friend’s bday party and was not all that impressed with the club. At the door, they will ask for your phone number and I made the mistake of giving them my real number. If you do, they will spam your phone with text messages and I have yet to figure out how to stop it(if you know how to stop the texts, please share). Our group had bottle service in order to get a booth. However, while we were all up and dancing in front of the booth, they decided to give our booth to some other group. We even tried to explain it to the staff but they were being stubborn and we did not want them to ruin the night. Anyways, the music did suck and I don’t want to be repetitive of the same cons from previous reviews.

Hot, crowded, bad music, and they won’t stop spamming me. I won’t repeat all the negative things other reviews have mentioned. But if you are ever forced to go here(dumb friends, for example), don’t give your real number when asked at the door! I’ve been getting text message spam from them ever since going there last month. No matter how many times I’ve tried to unsubscribe I still keep getting texts.

The place was fun because of the people I was with. But if I were to judge this place without my friends then this place wasn’t that great. While here coat check was closed and so a lot of people threw their jackets on a nearby couch. Well I don’t know what happened but all the bouncers were rude and put me on this wild goose chase when the coats disappeared. I feel that the drinks were wayy over priced and I just hate when bartenders won’t serve you unless you buy them a drink too. The dancers were really hot but when I went to ask if they would just say hi to my friend for his birthday they all magically had boy friends. It was before I even ask. Like hi and instantly they’d say I have a boyfriend. I was just disappointed by the service and the workers. So the place was fun but only because of the people I was with.

Not too impressed. The DJ stuck with a repetitive house theme all night, and when you see people leaving just after midnight, that’s not a good sign. The bartender’s «um, I’m not supposed to give out water» line was redonkulous, even after our party ordered several drinks served in sticky glasses from the bar. Um, like, water is free. And really, to deny water is not smart. Be careful of the random step in the middle of the floor. There’s a faceplant waiting to happen. $ 12 valet in the alley. Your car may just reek of smoke from the valet staff after picking it up too. That night was a bust.

Let’s point out this is not really a dance club. I would definitely call this a lounge. The website and advertising for this place is way off. However! It’s a swanky place, and I dig it. If you get the bracelet for a party, it’s a really good deal. The bartenders are nice, the drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is cool. I thought the music was weird. It wasn’t anything I could really jam to, but it was pleasant and partyesque. I also like that you can really hear each other talk in here. Lots of people were hanging in groups and talking, but there wasn’t that much dancing. LIke I said, not so dance clubby… I do plan on coming back!

An utterly perplexing concept, Ohm fancies itself to be a ‘club’, but it feels more like someone converted their 2nd flr walk-up into one large party room. Bottle service can be had, but the furniture looks like it’s been obtained from a second hand junk store. The music is Top 40 mixed with some hip hop, blasted out of tinny, under-powered and over-utilized speakers. Drinks are overpriced and watered down, typical of most clubs. The patrons are primarily overweight ladies looking for love from the frat contingent. I might come off as a negative Nancy in this review, but I genuinely hated this club and its failed attempt at relevance.

(The scene: Throwing down my empty glass on the bar counter and smiling at our beloved bartender [dubbed«B» below] for the night.) B: Yes, honey? Another one? M: Ehhhh. Don’t you have anything stronger? B: Than whiskey?!(tilts head and looks as though he’s searching through his mental encyclopedia of alcohol) M:(nodding) Yeah! There has to be something! B:(his head snaps to an upright position, as though a lightbulb when off in his head) Hennessy! M: Hennessy! And we smiled together in excitement as he poured some with coke. ;) Holla to Lance! And props to the dj — spinnin’ remixed versions of Michael Jackson all night. He even tossed in some old school Jackson 5! «A-B-C…as easy as 1−2−3.» RIP, MJ!
