When people visit me from Chicago I bring them to our lakefront. The first people say to me is, «It looks like an Ocean I can not see the other side!» Every single time I hear that comment and I wonder what people think when the hear Lake Michigan. Do they think we can see the people in Michigan on the other side, like Sarah P could see Russia from her back window? Our lakefront is the most beautiful place in the world because when you look out towards the water all you will see is the horizon and when you look behind all you will see is the most amazing city ever! It is the best of both worlds. Chicago people enjoy the lakefront… we use it and appreciate it. I’ve been in California and have seen there beach completely empty. Come to Chicago in July on a Wednesday and there is a crowd out here… try finding that in LA… it is not going to happen. Again we understand that our summer may be short and we are going to cram in as much fun and sun as we can. Who can blame us? Oak Street is one of those places that you can always enjoy the finer things in life. So sit back, turn up your iPod, grab a good book or just watch the beautiful women walk by(or guys if you are a lady reading this)! Summer is currently hear and it is time to grab your spot in the sun!!!
