The company I work for in Northbrook has ordered from here twice. Both times the food was so good that I told my wife about it. So today she said that she has to see what I’m talking about and so we took a little ride to Noon O Kabob from Wheeling and man o man she was not disappointed. She said that we are going to have to make this a very frequent stop and I agree. I plan on coming back with some of our good friends in the next couple, of, weeks and I know they are going to say the same as we do. To some the food up in one word incredible! By the way I love the mushrooms.

I can’t believe they just told me there closed at 8:45 and won’t deliver. Last order he said is 8:45. Exactly I called at 8:45. That’s lame. I won’t call again. Already before they sold me uncooked meat. That’s two times now they messed up, I won’t be calling again.

The food in general is okay, but not great for the price that is on the menu. The rice is too plain, and the meat(kabob) can use a little more taste.

I already love Noon o Kabab for their sit down meals, so it’s no surprise that I love their pick up. A casual housewarming party was delayed by friends being kept late at work. Overworked and not wanting to cook, there were talks of going out to eat or pizza. Since they lived close to here, I offered to grab a family platter from here! I ordered the family platter with some additional appetizers. While they forgot to check for my extra parsley, there was still plenty of parsley in the container and food all around. Six hungry people couldn’t even finish the family platter with additional orders of Must o Khiar and Hummus! My friends aren’t as picky of eaters as me, much less as picky about Persian food. I was thrilled, ecstatic, overjoyed, when I sampled the Ghormeh Sabzi! Almost as good as how my mom makes it! HOWISTHISPOSSIBLE? When I told my mom of the sorcery of the delicious Persian food, she relayed some Persian Guilt onto me about how I don’t need her to cook for me anymore.

Husband and I love the food here! We have never had an issue with the staff, they are helpful and wonderful. It’s hard to find quality fresh product for an affordable price. Highly suggest this place! They have great lunch deals as well! :)

I came in here late night on short notice. All I have to say Is Marie is the best I came in they got my order wrong. I called and spoke with a man who got my initial order wrong. All the boys started playing the blame game… I don’t care who made the mistake and Maria took the initiative and fixed the mistake. She is such a sweetheart and is so friendly. She even went as far as to see if it was OK for my pregnant fiancé to eat salmon.(apparently the verdict is still out). Great customer service skills and great food to make this place a deadly combo. Way better then Reeza by my book. With no shortage of compition of middle eastern fare along the street. Noon has made a name for itself quickly. Ps try the family platter it’s the best bang for your buck !

Well, after multiple apologies from the managers, we were offered to give them a second chance, on the house, and they said that that would never happen again. We eat there a lot cause it’s one of the finest in the city… So we ordered a delivery, as we expected, it was spot on… Very juicy, tender, cooked perfect rib eye and ground beef… they made sure to keep in contact w/me to see how everything was which is great service… Keep up the good cooking…

The food is very good but to me, a bit overpriced? This is just the takeout side of the restaurant. What was curious to me today was while I was overlooking the takeout menu, two different guys went out of their way to ask me if I was looking for the restaurant. No, I got it, thanks! I don’t know if they were being helpful or they just didn’t have a clue I was already there for several minutes perusing the menu… hmmm.

Some days are so long and grueling that even the idea of grocery shopping renders my exhaustion insurmountable. You know those days? Where you are ready to be done with it but don’t want to raid the fridge, eat cookies for dinner or pick up a crap burger at a drive thru? Maybe you still have work to do, contracts to negotiate, reports to draft, calls to make, a dog to walk and a dose of chores such as laundry besides. Take a minute. Place an order and give yourself and loved ones a break. It’ll only take a minute. Try this. It is as healthy as you want to make it! Hummus with veggies? Look at the pictures of lamb– yum-yummy! You want a lamb kabob, you really need one and you will look like a gourmet hero bringing this home!

Great Persian cuisine. Chicken kabab is out of this world so is dill rice. You can bring your own bottle of wine but corking fee is quite pricey. Definitely recommend this place

Great food. Huge portions. Friend Joanne W has been raving about this place and even though I hate raisins in anything other than oatmeal raisin cookies, she persuaded me to try the Shirin Polo. Persian white rice topped with finely shredded pistachio, orange peel jam, shredded carrots, golden raisins and Persian barberry. Along with the rice I wanted to try the pomegranate mushroom – another suggestion by JW and suggested by the online menu. I also wanted to try the lamb kebab and got a chicken kebab for the kid. I ordered at the location and was quoted 15 minutes and my order was ready in more like 10 minutes. The Shirin Polo and mushrooms was just delicious. It’s on the sweet side and I’m one that doesn’t care for anything sweet in a savory dish but somehow, I didn’t mind the sweetness in this. The rice was cooked perfectly and all the flavors complemented/blended well. Between lamb and chicken at a Persian restaurant, I always lean toward lamb. But here, the chicken won out. Juicy and flavorful, just so well-made. The lamb, meh. dry and bland. Like I said earlier, huge portions. Leftovers well into the next day. Friendly service. ‘Easy on the wallet. Small parking lot(yay!). Can’t wait to try some other dishes!

I love meditterean food and had high hopes for this place, but they were not met. Having not that much time I went to the carry out location which right next door to the dinning spot. The carry out building is pretty small and practically on train tracks but that didn’t bother me. I saw that they had a lunch special for $ 5.95 that looked really good I asked for that but the guy at the counter told me that was for the dine inn and this was the carry out but its the same, what meat do u want? Thinking it was I ordered the lamb. The total came out to $ 9.67. I don’t know if he scammed to pay more or if it was a misunderstanding either way he was not clear. I just paid thinking maybe it would be worth it, nope! I got a pretty decent kabob of lamb it was juicy and all, but that’s about it. The meal was pretty much buried in plain boring rice and also some pretty good dill rice that salvaged the meal. In a hurry I forgot to ask for extra tahini or hot sauce, but I hoped they would include atleast one, wrong. I had to eat the flavorless rice stale pita with no sauce. they did include feta cheese and onions but for $ 10 I expect some flavors not just couple pieces of meat and a pound of rice! I will give this place another shot at the dinning location but trust me if u want better flavors go to naf naf or olive or best yet pita inn!

Noon-O-Kabab is the place to go if you want the best Persian food around! Tried it once years ago and having been going back ever since. One of my favorite dishes is the Fessenjan. Don’t let the ingredients scare you. This dish is awesome! But then again, most of the dishes here are. Marie, the lady running the show in the catering and take out area is professional and caring. She takes time to make sure you are happy with your order and will do her best to make sure you become a repeat customer, if you aren’t already. She takes pride in her work and will perk us with her new creations. It is obvious that Marie understands the concept of customer service. It’s what keeps us coming back for more!

By far the best Persian restaurant in Chicago. The Salmon Kabab, and Fillet(Barg) Kabob are absolutely delicious. The Saffron infused rice(White & Dill) are the best. Don’t forget the«Kashke-Bademjan’(Eggplant appetizer) with warm freshly baked bread… Succulent.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because upon my first visit the owner greeted me and proceeded to show such incredible generosity, that I was absolutely blown away. I told him that I had just moved into the area, and my gas wasn’t turned on yet. So, I ordered my food… then he told me that he was going to give me some extra things to try. Well, that was an understatement! He gave me so much food to take home and try it was enough for 2 people, or a few days. The dill rice, which was excellent, and some other delicious stews and things. His gesture of kindness and generosity made such an impression on me that I vowed to let everyone know what an incredible person the owner is. Aside from that, I always get the salmon plate and it is always fresh and delicious… I love to sprinkle the feta cheese that they serve with it onto my dill rice. The people that work there always show great hospitality. Fast, healthy and delicious… I love spending my money at places like this because I know the people«behind» the food are inherently good.

Delicious! Adass Polo… «Wonderful mix of lentils, raisins, caramelized onions, saffron and Persian barberry served with Persian white rice.(You don’t want to miss this one)» From their menu. They do not lie. This dish was fantastic. Add the Caspian Eggplant and you will have no desire to ever cook for yourself again. YUM-O. I will be doing take out again + I want to try their restaurant soon.

Dear Kibbideh kabob and dill rice, Kibbideh, it’s been too long since the last time I ate you for lunch. I once missed your company and attempted to make a reasonable facsimile with ground lamb and ground beef, green onions and parsley… It didn’t go too well, in fact, it just made me miss you more. Dill rice, if I even had an idea as to how to capture your delicious essence and create something similar in taste, I would trade all my goats for that nugget of knowledge. But alas, it is a secret that will never be spoken. And I suppose the only way to get this most excellent joining of herbs, carbs and protein are to visit noon o kabob. Until we meet again… Keith

Three Words. Listen to me. Three Words. Spicy Pomegranate Wings! These spicy, sweet, tart, savory wings are delicious. It is a Persian party in your mouth. These wings are slow roasted and then slathered in a savory pomegranate glaze. I destroyed this wings and they were only the appetizer. Ok, listen to me again. Four Words… Joujeh-on-the-Bone. You would think I was sick of poultry after devouring all the wings, but this Cornish Hen was a great entrée. Marinated, skewered and then char-boiled to absolute perfection. Juicy, savory, a little smokey and everything I ever wanted to do to a Cornish Hen. This was served over perfectly cooked Dill Rice, grilled onions and tomatoes and lemons to squeeze over for a tangy complement. This meal was absolutely delicious and it was all delivered to my apartment in about a half an hour. I would suggest Noon O Kabab to anyone who loves succulent, savory, smokey and scrumptious poultry.
