Nano’s

Totally fabulous salon! Nadine did a fantastic job on my hair. It definitely needed some TLC. All my expectations were made. From color to highlights, to cut. Everything! Walked out very pleased :) Even my hubby loved my new shade of blonde and I’m a brunette ;) I will definitely be going back to Nadine for my hair again!

Nadine is so friendly and down to earth. She is wonderful with color. Always quick to fit you in.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER. I am now scrambling trying to find someone who can fix the mess this place made of my hair. I even had a picture of what I wanted, and the «stylist» said she could do it, but what I got was a choppy, unblended, asymetrical, mullet. It’s so short in all the wrong places that I ultimately have to just let it grow out and never return here. This is not a professional haircut. It looks like I cut my own hair in my basement, while intoxicated. It is so bad. I’ve never had such a horrible haircut, on anyone! These other reviews do not match my experience.

Highly recommend Nadine, she is super friendly and knows exactly what she’s doing! I came in with a groupon and was treated wonderfully. I had pretty messed up hair from a previous perm/​bad haircut and Nadine worked her magic and knew just what my hair needed. This salon is clean and uses great products for hair. The neighborhood is also super cute (but I may be be a little biased since I grew up around there) with plenty of street parking in the area. Will definitely be coming back for my next cut :)

Nadine was fantastic at assessing my hair’s needs. I came in for a haircut, but I was trying to grow it out from a disastrous hackjob I’d had about 3 months ago. She was great, told me I’d need to keep growing, that she couldn’t do much other than clean it up and thin it out, and then didn’t charge me for a whole haircut, because she hadn’t really cut it. I have to say, she did a wonderful job. I couldn’t really explain what I wanted, but she figured it out and gave it to me, and was totally reasonably priced as well. Really great experience, I’ll be going back in 6 weeks!

Both my mom and I have been clients for at least 10 years. This the only salon that will take care of your feet and do it right. Clean, reliable and great communication. They have helped me out on several occasions with quick gift certificates and just have been always there. I highly recommend Alla, she is our go to girl and she is fantastic at her job.
Easy parking on the side street or right in front on Devon. Also next door is an ice cream shop and its good, watch-​out it is hard to resist.

Nadine is the BEST! She really knows hair, really knows hair coloring and highlights and always aims to please. I have been going to Nanos Hair Salon for over 5 years and think that its about time that I give her a shout-​out!

The salon overall is very nice. Clean and personal. Nadine has been doing my hair for a few years now and I refuse to go to anyone else. She’s fantastic and does exactly what I ask. Definitely recommend her. Aurea does my eyebrows and does a phenomenal job. The best I’ve ever had. Nobody else is as good as her and the price is good as well.

I’ve been going to Nano’s since it opened! Nadine has been doing my hair for almost 10 years & I refuse to go to anyone else. She is amazing, super chill & very personable. Makes you feel like you are part of the family when you walk in. I’m always greeted with a hello & smile from everyone their. I always leave feeling & looking great. This is the place to go if for ALL of your spa needs. They offer so many services & are very thorough in making sure you get the attention & care you want.

I’ll never know if they are good or not. I purchased a voucher through dealfind a few months ago and still have not been able to get an appointment for a mani/​pedi. Whenever I call, their phone either goes straight to voicemail or they can’t make a «dealfind appointment». Apparently, they have one person who takes care of «those customers» and they have real limited openings. If you are there to pay in full, suddenly their schedule opens up. I’m trying to get a refund through dealfind so I can be done with this place.

Bonnie is my hair stylist and she does a wonderful job. I went to Mario Tricoci for years, I live in the city, and wanted to support a local establishment. This is my second time going to Bonnie, and I cannot wait to go back. I got highlights and a hair cut. Everything looks great. Bonnie exceeded my expectations again, and I couldn’t be happier. I would strongly recommend her to anybody looking for a great hair stylist at a reasonable price. She is lots of fun and makes the experience enjoyable. You will not be disappointed!

From my cut/​style and brow waxing to my mani pedis I’ve experienced nothing but GREAT service across the board. I’m so glad I found Nano’s and cannot say more about how well I was treated. So many times I’ve had a certificate from sites like Groupon or LivingSocial and when I arrive at an establishment I’m made to feel uncomfortable (you know that, «oh, you’re one of those certificate people» look). Not the case with Nano’s. On every single visit I was treated like a valued customer and this is why I will be back. Also, I wanted to make sure to note how clean the salon is kept. You can tell that this is important to the staff and it’s so refreshing to see. I’ve been to quite a few salons in Chicago and it’s wonderful to not have to shuffle through piles of hair and maneuver around toe nails!
5 stars and two perfectly manicured thumbs up for Nano’s. You guys rock!
