Probably the best Ramen I’ve ever tried or will try. The Chef is an expert in Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine, with a background from all over its definitely worth a visit. Leaving Chicago without trying this establishment would be a huge mistake! Fairly priced and right off the Belmont Red Line stop

They have a new chef now. Ask him to cook you some beef fried rice the Chinese way, without all the baby corn and carrots or whatever. It’s really good. Stop trying to eat healthy.

ZEROSTARS. Overcharged us for nasty food. Filthy dirty bathrooms, floors, chairs and tables. Unfriendly service. Will not go again.

Love their bahn mi’s. Best on the Broadway/Belmont strip. The bread is so fresh. I preferred when it was Nhu Lan, just because they had more kinds. The spring rolls are delicious. Do not miss the kimchi fries with bacon. Ask for extra bacon. When I got mine, it was 2 strips crossing. I wish they had crumbled it. I did the second strip. Overall, it’s a great spot that needs to stay in the neighborhood.

Tried their bahn mi and love the lemongrass chicken! Fresh ingredients and plentiful amount at a good price. Bread could be just a bit crunchier but its such a minor detail still must give 5 stars. Will eventually try other things but lately can’t stop eating the bahn mi :}

We started with the pork & veggie gyoza with nummy, traditional sauce & shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were so fresh with crispy veggies and came out very quickly. Then our meals came out and we knew we ordered too much! The Phở Tai delicious and a HUGEPORTION with plenty of bean sprouts, fresh basil & lime wedges on the side to add. Hubby had the GyuDon-huge portion. he added bunch of hoisin & sriracha for his liking but said the fresh ginger throughout, tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles & rice. Definitely delicious. .agree with previous reviews the décor(and complete lack of it) was bit surprising… I backed out of the restaurant at first since I could hear top 40 radio and TV playing over each other and was so non-descript that I thought I’d walked in wrong door! Besides that, very good!

Name changed so I almost drove past this place. My favorites here: shrimp and pork bahn mi and the phở… any kind. It’s hot and fresh and delicious! Tons better food than the BahnMi BaGet right around the corner.

This place was great! My friends and I popped in randomly for a quick bite and the food was so delicious and fresh for such an unassuming place. I loved the beef taco and pork pot stickers. My friends got the beef bibimbap — so good. I can’t wait to go back and try something else!

When I craved PHO, I used to come here when it was Nhu Lan. Since Nannan took over this space, I decided to try them out based on the feedback from other people. Overall, the PHO was decent in size as to the meat and noodles — but the flavor is lacking in terms of depth. Had to put a lot of Hot Siracha and Hoisin Sauce to get the flavor right. Not bad for Lakeview but not great for real PHO — would recommend Phở Tank instead.

I was really hungry and this was the first place I saw… looked like one of those typical fast food asian places from the outside. guy inside was really nice and food was really good. I got a bunh mi and phở. both really good. Will stop by again

I used to come here for Phở and found out they changed their name and decoration inside about half a year ago. I was worried the food would change, but no, they just added more options! I love their phở, comes in a big bowl. If you cant eat a lot, get the baby phở I tried their sandwiches and shrimp rolls, pretty good. Im very excited about their tacos! Its only $ 2+ but its pretty filling. After eating 2 of them, I’m full. The service is nice in here. More of a casual place not a dating place. I don’t know why but they changed their deco to a morden style, which seems kinda cold to me Overall a great place to get take out/quick bite!

This place is not worth coming in for Ramen. It was terrible. The only thing that tasted good was the gyoza. Overall, complete disappointment. So much for great food! And what kind of Asian place do not have red pepper flakes???

Nannan brings really decent ramen to Lakeview! I’ve had their tonkotsu ramen here several times and it’s very solid. We have ramen options in Lakeview now thanks to Nannan! I’ve also tried a decadent kalbi poutine fries, and remember the fries being very nicely fried and tasty. In the summer, I will get their smoothies again… the red bean smoothie I tried was a bit on the sweet side, but quite delicious.

Great local joint with pretty good ramen. I got the tonkatsu and was really pleased with it. We’ve also gone a couple of times for the bubble tea slushies and they are great. Watermelon(may be seasonal) and green tea are two favorite flavors.

I have been here twice and both times I have been very pleased with my orders. I love the Kalbi Beef tacos, and to wash it down, I ordered a Watermelon Smoothie sooo good. I am thrilled they are here on 602 W. Belmont, and will be back. Thank you Dany for your great service… thank the chef too!!!

My friends and I have visited Nannan twice this month. We love Asian food and really want to see more hang out places like this in our neighborhood. In both visits, food was great, friendly smile and price are very reasonable. The dining room was a little plain and blend. Should add some life element on it.

The girl at the front was so sweet. My banh mi wasn’t too good. Fresh roll was pretty bad. I like the atmosphere. Quiet. Frank Sinatra? I’ll give it another try.

Overall: Great food in a casual spot. Friendly service, fast, easy, and delicious. Nothing fancy The good: Great tasting food. Service, while you just order from a board, is friendly and the food comes out fast. Good taste in music playing. Cheaper than most options in the area. Delivery. The bad: The atmosphere is very lacking and plain. The menu is great, but some might find it limited. Atmosphere: 6⁄10 Service: 8⁄10 Food: 8⁄10
