By far the best burger outside of Alberta. These Chicago choppers make up for the lack of great beef. M & O are bloody brilliant, I’m not sure how they are this good. THis is simply an amazing burger joint. I’m so happy I found this place.

Wow, what a find. If you like hotdogs, you need to check this place out. Delicious and extremely cheap… plus picnic tables along the river. You just can’t beat that! These aren’t Chicago-style dogs with all the trimmings, but they’re tasty. In case you couldn’t figure it out from the name, your topping choices are mustard and grilled onions… and peppers if you want ‘em. One dog with fries(for $ 2.50?!? What is this, 1954? What a steal!) was enough to fill me up, but they do have a «doubledog» option if you’re hungry, plus other choices like burgers, polish sausage, grilled chicken, etc. The owner is incredibly nice and came over to all of the tables to check on customers and make sure they were enjoying their meals. Give this place a chance next time you’re looking for a quick lunch — it’s much better than the other hotdog places in the area. **COUGH*americasorgoldcoastCOUGH*AHEM*EXCUSEME** In short — ridiculously inexpensive, filling but not too greasy, with awesome outdoor seating(for now). I want to make sure that business goes well for this guy once the weather starts taking a turn for the worse… even if sitting outside is no longer an option, it will be worth braving the snow for these hotdogs, believe me!

This is the best kept loop lunch secret. It’s down on the river between clark & dearborn. I have tried everything from their limited menu. Dogs, Polish, Burger, Pork Sandwich, and yes, the horseshoe. It’s not much more than hot dog stand fare, but the dog and fries are $ 2.50, tax included. The polish and fries are $ 3.50 tax included. They’ll be open all winter, but get there now while the weather is nice and you can sit on the water and enjoy a great lunch!

What a refreshing break this was for lunch on Friday. I really like to be outside as much as possible during the nice weather and this gave me the option to spend my lunch hour doing that. It is not anything fancy, just burgers and dogs out of a van type place. The food is good and quick and the location gives you the opportunity to spend your lunch hour doing something other than huddling over your computer. The owner was super friendly and checked to make sure we were happy with everything. It wasn’t too pricey either which is always nice for work lunch. Definitely a nice little break in the day during the last few days where you can get outside to eat.
