They have the best half chicken dinner you get a lot of food and it taste delicious definitely worth the price. For 8.75 you get half a chicken, potatoes, rice, salad and garlic bread. The chicken is so good it falls right off the bone.

Amazing Greek food. Love their potatoes. I drive all the way from Kenosha to eat from this place. Just great food!

I don’t think their chefs understand how fragile it is handling and storing chicken. I ordered the Grecian lunch special and the following 48 hours after that my toilet seat became my best friend.

BEST GREEK SALAD EVER. All their food is really good but their dressing is delicious and the chicken (which I have added to my salad) is always cooked to order. Love this place

The first time I came across the restaurant I wasn’t sure what to think. So I decided to try them one time for lunch not knowing what to expect. I had the double cheese burger with small fries. What I didn’t expect was a 12 monte wait time, but it was worth it. My burger was hot and fresh. My French Fries were the same. I devoured the burger in less than 10 minutes. I enjoyed every bite of it. The combo came at a price of $ 8.00. Now on lunch breaks when I do not want my homemade lunch or cannot microwave my food; or I am in the mood for a quick burger to eat, I always think of Mr. Zee’s.
The other day I went in for lunch and thought is to something new instead of the double cheeseburger. I tried their Gyro Dinner. Big disappointment. My food was warm and my cheese on my gyro wasn’t even melted. Never again.

I would seriously eat that grilled chicken Cesar salad from here everyday if I could. They give really large portions of food for a good price. They recently got new owners and they are 100x nicer and friendlier than the last one.

Please get the half chicken plate. Its a huge delicious meal for 8 bucks with great Greek flavors. The food feels like home-​cooking; Its tasty but not fried or greasy. The rice is a lemon orzo that is so moist and yummy. The potatoes also have a slight lemon flavor and they are so tender. The shining star is all the chicken you will get that is NOT dry and seasoned so well. Also a side of coleslaw or soup and garlic bread. You can’t beat that.

The last two times I was here the gyros was way over cooked and I had to return it. They cut the meat to order then destroy it on the grill It is close to my house but I will not visit here again

I phoned in an order and the lady could not understand what I wanted to order. Before I could finish my order, she hung up on me. This place has been decent in the past but not anymore. I ordered a steak sandwich which usually cost about 8 dollars. This time I was charged 17 dollars and I complained to the manager but that’s the price he said. Bad attitude, bad customer service and the sandwich was burnt. I’ll never come here again

Mr. Zees take on Greek American is worth a try! The grilled chicken and hot soup are the highlights of the restaurant. The baklava is also a treat to be tried. The second location opened at Central and Montrose is slightly less as bustling as the original still as good!

Terrible customer service and forgetting items in my order. Never again will I go there.

Came here as a last resort to try one of their Italian beef sandwiches. The meat smelled spoiled and the taste of it was horrible. I couldn’t take a second bite. The sandwich was dry and bread was stale. I ordered water and it took the cashier a 3^rd reminder to only to be given a tiny cup. The chicken wasn’t so bad but for the money I spent, I could have gone to a better place. Lesson learned, I will not be coming back

Quick and easy American and Greek fast food. Usually stop by here when I’m craving a gyro and don’t want to travel the distance. The meat is nicely seasoned and the fries are crispy. I have tried other stuff on the menu like their salads and sandwiches but to be honest all of their food is just decent. Nothing really stands out and makes it memorable and having to go back.
Ambience is ok. Interior is dark and kind of dated. When I went there were a bunch of dirty dishes on the tables.

We’ve eaten here quite a bit and never had a problem. Clean, good size menu of American & Greek fast food. Lot’s of room to sit. Tv’s always have whatever games are on. Reasonable prices. Tastes the way it should. Great large portion sizes. Especially like the steak dinner plate and their Greek potatoes. Their Spinach pie is one of the better ones around as well.

I can’t say that the gyros are bad, but they don’t taste the way I like them too. One thing that makes a good gyros is the sauce. If your sauce is whacko then the gyros is already heading towards a thumbs down.
I’m pretty sure that they freeze their sauce because it is watery and runny, and sometimes icy. Tzatziki sauce should be thick, rich, and creamy. It should NOT look like white water with green bits floating around in it.
The polish is good, but you have to tell them to deep fry it if you want it that way. I ordered one once and said I wanted it deep fried, the order taker looked miffed and said we ALWAYS deep fry them. Apparently not, since the last two times I’d had them, they were boiled because I forgot to ask.
Other than that, they almost never get the orders right. I ordered a plain gyros for someone and it had raw onions and tomato on it. I asked for just grilled onions on mine, and got nothing but sauce. It’s the same way with the polishes, they can’t seem to get the toppings right if you order more than one of the same thing.

I’m so tired of their nasty attitudes and forgetting food in my order. The only one who has been nice to me is the blonde greek lady at the counter. The rest of the employees are pathetic and pitiful. I stopped coming to this dump.

This is your typical gyro and dog stand. The food is about as good as one would expect, but it just takes so freakin’ long to get. I don’t understand why it takes 15min to get a gyro sandwich, italian beef or hot dog and fries. Maybe give them 5min to deep fry some potatoes, but the rest of it, you’re just shaving beef or picking it up with tongs and throwing it on a bun.
I don’t care about the demographic of the people working the counter, or the décor of the place, as others have stated. I just like to get my food within a reasonable time, and it just doesn’t happen here. There’s plenty of other places in the neighborhood turning out the same food and at a quicker pace.

Very tasty gyros and they give you plenty of meat, fries are good. Their grilled chicken dinner with the Greek potatoes are really good.

This establishment has two locations: Montrose and Central, also at Narragansett and Irving. This is well made food, for the average person and family to eat and bring the kids. For about $ 7.00 per person, one can get enough food for two days. The portions are enormous. Many people with young children will order nothing for the kids and let them eat off their plates.
Some highlights are Greek chicken, any of the kebabs, Italian Beef sandwiches, Chicago style hot dogs, salads with a whole chicken breast and a decent Italian dressing. The menu is huge and after ordering at the counter, all food is cooked to order.
The store at Montrose and Central has better tasting food. I am guessing they have a better grill cook. The food at Narragansett and Irving tastes plainer and certainly less seasoned.
This is good quality budget food and /​or a place to grab a quick hot sandwich, when you are in a hurry. Tonight, the wife, grandson and myself ordered $ 25 worth of food and we ate well. We have enough left over for lunch tomorrow, bringing the cost per person per meal to $ 3.50. Not bad these days.
