Best food for the late night enebriated stupors. Get the pizza puffs and garlic fries. So good and greasy.

Way better than Subway.
Sandwiches are very substantial and you have more choices than just cold cuts.
Plus they have fries, breaded mushrooms, chicken tenders… Why do people even subway?

Great joint overall! The grub never fails to satisfy me, and this place is a great hangout.

Mr. Sub is a weekly staple of mine. The sandwiches are basic and reliable. The garlic fries with cheese are delicious. Word to the wise, be prepared for mediocre service and errors in your order– this is all part of the Mr. Sub experience.
They may not always get your order right, but when they do, it tastes just like it did last time you got your correct order. Their bread is fresh and delicious. They have great hours and a drive thru. Other Mr Subs in the area don’t compare.

Well decided to try this place again. For some reason the people that work at night do not understand the words NO ONIONS. Sandwich was supposed to be hot as well. Oh well I tried.

If I could give half a star I would and only because they got the cheese sticks right!!!
So I order 3 sandwiches all on wheat and 2 with extra mayo and oil, cheese sticks and a side of Giardiniera. I get my order and they are all on white. The guy tells me «Well I didn’t take your order»…Ok (yes he was right) but you had to know what my order was to prepare it! So I get the corrected order and it’s not correct… they left off the mayo!!! So the guy says «OMG just give em the mayo packages… REALLY? Since I was so frustrated and I didn’t feel like waiting, I took the packages and left. Well I had to come back for my Giardiniera… :-(
I will not be coming back here again!!! I’ve been going here for over 15 years! I guess I’ll have to travel a little further for another location!

I Love Mr Submarine… I usually get fries and they make them fresh… Today they tasted like they were warmed or heated. I eat a lot of French fries and that was a bad batch. idk…I guess I’ll just stick to the king turkey. No fries.

The food is very delicious here. The must have is the garlic fries which are awesome. My son loves the roast beef sandwich from here and says it’s the best roast beef from any sandwich shop. Also, it’s nice supporting small business compared to the larger chains. I get the combo which is delicious. Never had anything bad from here.

BUGGY FOOD!!! On 11÷21÷14 I got a reg. Mr. Sub to go. Got home, ate half of it when I noticed 2 ants on my plate!!! Just read another review that said a cockroach ran across her table while eating inside. BEWARE of the extra unwanted protein in your food! Calling the Health Dept. on Monday.

Awesome subs, great hours! The pastrami and pastrami/​corned beef combo sandwiches are OUTSTANDING!

The existence of 1-​star reviews tells you a lot about the average American’s expectation of quality food from a place that gets most of its business after bars close.
It’s decent quality fast food. The Beverly location in particular has been managed by the same guy since I was in high school two decades ago. I’ve eaten here countless times and its consistently good and about the best your going to get at 2AM on a Tuesday.

Love me some Mr Sub! Sandwiches are awesome, and everything is sliced fresh so you know you aren’t getting some pre packaged tomatoes that were sliced a week ago. Turano delivers fresh bread every morning! You can get any sub hot which tastes (and smells) so amazing. Prices are super reasonable and for an extra $ 1.99 you can add a drink and fries, chips, or soup. I hate leaving some sandwich places having just spent $ 10 and I’m still hungry. Not here!

Their turkey subs are hands down way better than Subway or Jimmy John’s. I grew up with this place and I have always had a good experience with their food.

Best hot dogs. And for a great price for $ 2.50. Very fast at cooking. Great shakes. Is a great neighborhood fast food joint.

First of all EW. Walked in here starving and the place was a mess. Food all over the floor, messy tables etc. But it was late and I was working and didn’t have much of an option. Order my food from the cashier guy who was a total ASSHOLE he was rude, and acted like everyone in there was a complete bother to him. I was starving so I didn’t care. There was a HUGE cicada in there which a customer caught and threw outside. I even let that go. I sit down, open my sandwhich, take a bite, and BAM there goes MR. COCHROACH crawling across the table. I just about puked. I threw my sandwhich away and walked out. OH and the pickle I ordered and attempted to eat was freaking brown. LONG STORY SHORT… stay away from here. Before I left I looked behind the counter and it too was filthy, place is nasty and I plan to call the board of health.

The only place in these United States where a food establishment in a strip mall has a drive thru in the front.
Mr Sub, as the local youths call it, is the cheap fast food joint that you go to if you:
A) Have had way too much to drink
B) Don’t have a lot of coin in your pocket
C) Looking for something quick and somewhat tasty
D) All of the above
Turns out that Mr Sub is a Canadian chain, and this is their version of Subway. There are a plethora of both hot and cold subs, and even some seafood– wasn’t that brave. Was told to go with a pizzapuff, but instead opted for a cold corn beef. Everything about the sandwich– bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese– were fine. The meat was just there, no taste, but then again, for 4 bucks you know exactly what you are getting. The pizza puff on the other hand was quite tasty, think of a deep fried hot pocket.
This Bizarro Subway is definitely worth checking out if looking for late night memories with friends you will probably forget in the morning.

I went through the drive thru at 5:45pm OCt. 18^th at the 105^th and Western location. Their customer service is horrible!!!
It wasn’t busy when I was there but it was raining. I had my car window up so rain wouldn’t get into my car because it took them a while to make my order… fried mushrooms and gyro sub. To get my attention that my food was ready the guy at the window yelled so loudly HELLLOOOO!!!
That’s it. No… here you go or your food is ready or sorry for being so loud I didn’t think you heard me with your window up. NOTHING.
I’ve been there before a few times before but never during this time always earlier. Their customer service was never the nicest but I’m not paying my money to a restaurant who can’t teach their employees how to speak to their customers. With this guys actions I can bet he’s been this rude before to customers.
I don’t plan on going back there ever again!
There is a Jand J fish with amazing service and food a few blocks south of Mr. Submarine on western and Subway’s are everywhere. No more Mr. Submarine for me!
By the way the gyro sub was horrible, yuk. The meat was not the best.

My «Mr. Sub» addiction rolls on. And this location in Beverly seems to be the location we hit up most. Unlike some locations, the french fries here are crinkle cut. Always salted to perfection. Our order always comes out correct despite that helpless feeling of «you know they’re going to screw something up.»
My only gripe is the parking lot is super small due to the fact that it’s located in the tiniest strip mall ever. You must be cautious when exiting the drive-​thru onto Western because parked cars generally prevent you from seeing traffic heading towards you.
Otherwise, not much else to say besides this Mr. Sub rocks my world.
