I’ve been taking my daughter to Mr. Dave’s Wiggleworms class at Old Town School of Folk Music since she was 6 months old, and for her 3rd birthday party she had just one request: MR. DAVE! When he showed up at our house, she nearly fainted… but a few minutes into his awesome 30 minute set, she was too busy dancing up a storm with her friends to be shy. He played all her favorite songs, brought instruments for the kids to shake while they danced, and had everyone give her the sweetest group hug while he sang happy birthday. It was a total hit, and she’s been talking about it nonstop since he walked out the door. If you’re looking for the perfect activity for a kid’s party, I truly can not recommend Dave highly enough. Beyond birthday parties, his classes and concerts are awesome (check his website for details; he plays all over Chicago), and his CDs are an absolute must for road trips.
