This store has all the highest quality men’s brands in the world. Certainly one of the best fine men’s clothing shops around, including those in other major cities. The selection and quality of the Italian lines are impressive and the sales staff and owner is always on hand to help with anything you may need.
Obviously, much of the merchandise is very expensive, but you are paying for the very best clothing in the world. Any time I have to be in Chicago for work or fun, I always stop at Morris & Sons to pick up at least one new suit or sport coat.

I visit Chicago twice a month to care for my Dad and I took some time off to visit Morris & Sons for the first time. This store is amazing and I have been to some of the top fine men’s clothing shops in Boston, New York, SAn Francisco, London, and DC. i would put this ahead of all the others in terms of selection and quality of fine Italian lines like Kiton, Paul Zileri, Brioni and Stefano Ricci. And, more important, they are willing to discount the clothing 30% off of retail. It is still crazy expensive, but this stuff is gorgeous. The owner offered to drop the price of a Kiton Cashmere Sport Coat that I loved, to a ridiculously low price for this jacket, but I just couldn’t pull the trigger. I will be going back for sure and I left with some beautiful ties, pocket square and a luscious linen shirt at ½ price. The salesmen was knowledgeable about all his lines and what would fit me best and didn’t push when I tried something one if it really didn’t fit well. I think he knew he could find something for me and was comfortable letting me try on anything I wanted. I look forward to a return trip and really recommend this place if you love fine clothing. They also sell John Lobb shoes, some say the best in the world. I love them but they don’t make wide lasts which I need, so if you wear normal width, go crazy.

This store has a great selection of the best of the best in French & Italian Clothing. If you love Kiton, Brioni, Stefano Ricci, Luciano Barbera, Brunello Cucinelli and more this is the store for you! They pride themselves at not carrying anything made in China. I go in all the time for my scarves.

Great selection of the best Italian and some British brands. Top quality and large selection.
Odd location with good parking.

Salesmen follow you around the store and try to guess the brands you are wearing. Very annoying.
Salesmen won’t leave you alone, they listen to your conversations and interrupt, very pesky. Not appropriate with this level of quality merchandise.
Despite the great merchandise feels like a used car lot in new jersey.

When the invitation for the black tie event arrived, I immediately assumed I would rent a tux. Wrong. My wife had other plans. Time to buy something you will look good in that we can go out in whenever we want. Of course I took her to all the usual suspects — Modern Tuxedo, Mens’ Wearhouse, Joseph Banks, a couple of other rental/​sales locations. They were nice enough, but suddenly I was seeing the difference between renting and owning and I wanted to look like I wanted to feel. Off to Morris and Sons.
I bought my wedding suit there, I bought my first designer suits there. I should have gone there first. Morris and Sons stocks quality designer clothes, emphasizing suits, with costs from the mid hundreds to the mid thousands. And those prices are steeply discounted, and they have sales and sale items. You will spend there, but you will save versus buying the same quality elsewhere. The staff is old school and most have been there a long time. They know what fits and how it should look. They show you what they like, but they listen and they don’t try to soap you into overspending or overbuying. They also keep up with style and fashion and won’t let you dress wrong, if you tell them what look you are looking for. The tailoring is done on site and done right the first time and they stand behind the work; they will adjust if needed. They have all the accessories and piece items and some beautiful shoes. I can’t speak to the desirability of the womens’ clothes, but the selection seemed stylish, elegant and high quality. In other words, guys, if you go for a suit with your lady, she is likely to shop and to go back. It’s off the beaten path, but well worth the trip.
