This is a place you go to if you live in the neighborhood/area. Not a «destination spot». They do the perfect pours of draft beer and have good cocktails as well. The burgers, sandwiches and soups are the best food items. The fish is average and entrees are ok. The service is always very nice and accommodating. I would give four stars if the fish, sides and entrees were better.

Thursday, late lunch. The lunch crowd was gone. The service was attentive and friendly. I had the double bacon burger w fries and my vegetarian friend had a flatbread. The burger was really good and the flatbread had more than enough toppings and resulted in a happy vegetarian. Good value, very good meal.

First and foremost this is a neighborhood bar, so I wouldn’t go out of your way if you live in Lincoln park to get here. But if you live in Edgebrook /wildwood /Sauganash and you haven’t been here you need to get here. So I first stopped in here pretty soon after I moved here as I literally have to walk by it everyday from the train, and from the start the staff was nothing but welcoming. The owners Gus and Jim do a great job of being friendly and welcoming to the new guests. Now that I’m a regular I am biased, but yes the food is great for Irish bar food. If you go in expecting bar food, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is kid friendly, my family goes there for dinner. Tuesday’s rock with their open mic and jam and the owners have really done a good job of getting decent bands in on the weekend. For the local neighborhood folk it’s a great place to have fun on the weekend or to just stop by for a quick one on the way home from work.

I went here with my friend for a few drinks and lunch over the summer. The Guinness was excellent and food was good, I loved the warm environment. Everyone seemed very nice. My friend is blind and he was treated well. When our food was delivered, the waitress described what was on his plate and where everything was on the table. That was some excellent service.

Positives: The waitress and bar service were great. They were both polite, knowledgeable, and personable. I would definitely go back for their fish and chips plus the portion was a good size. I thought the interior décor was old school, but perfect for an irish atmosphere. The restaurant was kid-friendly which is great for families in the area that want to go out to dinner. The home-made soup was delicious but slightly over-salted. They had Revolution IPA on tap. Negatives: The buffalo chicken flatbread was very dry and salty. I know blue cheese can be a salty cheese but everything on it tasted salty. Would not order again. I would have liked a few other craft beers on draft and maybe some drink specials other than the plain domestics. All in all, we will be back.

Has become my new go to local place. Really good food and the best tasting Smithwick’s I can find(currently my preferred beer). Triva on Thursday nights is a good time. The whole staff and owners are really friendly. Great place to go with some friends for a chill night.

Awesome and friendly places… customers and staff alike. Really relaxing experience and the owner is quite social and very much into help the community of Edgebrook. Live music sounds fun, and I hear food is good too.

Really the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Fresh, not fishy. And the fruits were crazy good.

This is always a good pick for my wife and I when we are looking for a quick bite out. I usually get the Shepherd’s Pie and am never disapointed and my wife likes the coconut shrimp. The portions are large and you get good value for money.

The food is great pub fare, the beer selection could use some more crafts. However the friendly service and energy of the place make up for it.

Been there twice with a friend who is a regular, so they are friendly as can be to us. Like the selection of beer, and whenever I can have my hackershore I am a happy camper. Food is good as far as bar good goes, and it’s timely and priced right. It’s my new local bar, so if I am not home look for me there with Patrick!

Give Moher’s another look. We’ve lived through a few owners and this group is rockin it. Last night, I had the Moher’s burger and it was one of the BEST burgers I’ve EVER had, anywhere. My wife had the veggie sandwich and refused to share. Our daughter had mac and cheese and loved ir. We carried out, though Moher’s pub vibe is always good.

My wife and I are here at least once a week. Specials are always good. Drinks are always excellent. A great neighborhood pub! Plus, it’s within walking distance of our house. Can’t go wrong with that! Don’t forget to ask Brandon to play the bagpipes!

I came here the day before St. Patty’s Day and it was really crowded, which is awesome. I had never been here before so I came at the right time. Some girls did a dancing jig, I had a good burger and it was an overall great experience!

I got sick from whatever was in my curried fries last night. I spit out a french fry and if I didn’t know better, I would have sworn it was feces. It smelled very distinctly of feces but it looked like a normal french fry covered in curry sauce. I don’t know what could have happened to make it smell and taste like that. The owner was very nice about it and comp’d the meal, but that doesn’t change the fact that I had this filth in my mouth and went home and threw up. I won’t be returning. The waitress was really nice!

We stopped here on a snowy night when most people were tucked in their homes. As a matter of fact, we were the only customers in the pub on this particular Tuesday evening. It’s an attractive pub, kept spotless and the service was terrific the night we were there. I had the Guiness Beef Stew which was very good with nice chunks of beef in a hearty stew gravy. It came with a nice puff pastry on top. On the downside, my wife ordered the corned beef sandwich. The corned beef was dry and not very flavorful. There wasn’t much of it either. They pour a perfect pint at the right temperature. I would come back for the libations and atmosphere but I’m not so sure I would order food again.
