Modern Pharmacy is neither modern, nor a pharmacy. Discuss amongst yourselves.
This is my go-​to for Shiseido supplies. I feel like they have a different selection than the department stores, but it’s been so long since I have bought Shiseido stuff elsewhere that I can’t even compare. At Modern Pharmacy, they give bigger and better samples.
They also sell many Korean food items and tea, sake sets and other pottery wares, hula hoops with magnetic roller balls implanted in them for some reason, luggage, rice cookers, nail polish, shirts, hats, cactus honey powder, and a few other make-​up lines such as IOPE and The Amore. Oh, and some antique furniture.
Best non-​modern non-​pharmacy in town.

This well-​supplied independent family-​run pharmacy is notable for the wide selection of Korean gift and household items stocked in the attached «Modern Gift» shop and its large Shishido cosmetics sales area. They also have a good selection of Zojirushi products, including «Mr. Bento» insulated lunchboxes, rice cookers, and instant hot water dispensers.
