All I ordered was 3 chicken tacos, but they were easily the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.

Really a great burrito! I’ve been looking for one in the neighborhood and they deliver the goods. They were also very nice at the counter. Tacos were good as well. Don’t forget your free guacamole with a check in!

Ordered the enchiladas… Not a fan. Tasted like something I would try to make at home for the first time. 2 stars for the yummy horchata.

Best tacos on the far Northwest side of Chicago. Everything is fresh and cooked to order every time I am there. The horchata is always delicious. Cheap, filling, and very tasty is all you need in a taqueria like this. Will be back!

First time I went to this place I found good tacos. Next time I went I tried the steak burrito with onions and cilantro. Loved it. Next time I went, very good burrito again. Then I went again. Burrito steak way too salty. Once again I go today, meet way too chewy. This is due to the not enough chop chop on the meat. Next time I go it better be perfect!

check the Unilocal check in coupon… free Guac, I pretend that it is fresh. Calling in won’t get your order moving before you get there. The menu will have a new something-something almost every stop in — not in a bad way. Price is high. think it is 4 for a large horchata… The free quac and a taco or two bring a stop to an average expenditure Staff seems basically upbeat but perhaps just my luck but it always seems I am interrupting a Nintendo game in the back of the place. pretty quick service.

This restaurant has had major improvements in their food quality yes the price is a bit high but now it’s worth it came in yesterday for a burrito and a drink and it was perfectly made now I’m going back today to get a taco dinner. The horchata is one of the best I have tasted!

Most people rave about the steak tacos, but I love the veggie burrito, myself. I only wish it had sliced avocado instead of guacamole, but that’s just me, and they’ll do it if I ask nicely :) The menu isn’t big, but it’s authentic and inexpensive and delicious.

You could easily split a platter but its hard to say no to chopped onions and cilantro on the tacos. Good rice. Will be a regular. Stuffed and happy.

This is hands down the best taco place ever. I was really sad when the palapita on Milwaukee closed. This is my new go to place! Carne asada Tacos are to die for and the al pastor are some of the best I’ve ever had –next to atotonilco.

Holy guacamole! I think I’m in love. I have driven past Mini Palapita several times, wondering how the food was. The building is misleading and you question if anyone leaves here without getting food poisoning. They always say never judge a book by its cover! After eating a carne asada burrito with everything on it, I don’t know if I will eat again at my usual Taqueria. I swear they’re hiding a charcoal grill in the back because I don’t know where all that flavor is coming from in the steak. Whatever it is that the cooks are doing, keep it up! I call that talent. The burritos are pricey at $ 10 for one with everything on it. Or should I say in it? Worth every penny. The gentleman who took my order asked if I needed anything else with the burrito I ordered, and I usually settle on the salsa verde as a dipping sauce. The man eyed me for a moment, and suggested I try the«black sauce.» I had never heard of black sauce before so I was down to try something different. Again they nailed it with flavor and the right amount of heat. I tore through the entire serving and never once touched the salsa verde. You know, I am REALLY fighting the use of a popular cliché here, but let’s just leave it at «I’m never going back.» Thanks guys!

Wow.wow.wow. The restaurant before this was ok. So trying this«new» Mexican restaurant was kind of skeptical. However I was surprised with the quality of food AND service. The meat was delicious and not to mention the chicken tortas! The food has been consistently good and fresh. Only drawback is that it doesn’t have too much indoor seating.

This is our go-to for take out on busy weeknights when my fiancé and I are scrambling to get home and eat. I LOVE their carne asada tacos, i literally could eat them every day. Freshly made tortilla chips with guacamole and their house made salsas are killer. I’m making myself hungry for tacos just writing this review.

One of the best steak burritos out there, and I have tried them all. The steak with onion and cilantro is delicious. Not a bunch of glop in the burrito so you taste the quality of the meat. Burrito is a bit pricey but worth it for the quality. The chicken burrito is quite good too. Food is always consistent.

This restaurant recently changed owners but the food is still great! I personally like the steak tacos! It is a small hole in the wall mexican joint. The food is a B +. The reason I am giving them 5 stars is because I was there on 4÷15÷15 I came in with a jacket and it had my wallet in my jacket along with $ 300 + in cash. By the time I traced my foot steps I called them on 4÷17÷15 and they had my jacket and my wallet(the money was gone)! I was still excited to have my wallet back and have my jacket back. I think losing a wallet you expect the cash to be gone. Thank you guys for at least returning my belongings even though the cash wasn’t there. Back to the food. They have a green and red salsa which is decent, the fresh chips you get if you eat in is nice and crispy. Small joint. Good for lunch. The parking lot has a lot of pot holes so be careful pulling in. Otherwise, if you’re in the area and want to grab a quick lunch it’s worth the stop.

Tacos control my life!!! So my boyfriend did not want to cook, which kind of pissed me off!!! I was really looking forward to eating a great steak. I really need to stop being so damn selfish all the time and let him relax once in a while. So he texted me to stop at this place to get Tacos. He lives a few blocks away and i guess this place has always been one of his favorite places. I get here and the place is dead! It was about 4:50PM. I placed my order for 6 steak tacos and honestly i think the prices were a bit outrageous. For $ 16 bucks i could have eaten an entire meal plus alcohol at Chilis. My order was prepared right away and the two guys that were there were very nice! When i got to my boyfriends house we went right for it. The Tacos were pretty damn good! I do not have any complaints. The steak was nicely seasoned and everything was fresh! I honestly wish that they would stay open longer on the weekends! If they would stay open past 1AM i can guarantee that this place will have many people stopping by for a late night taco!

Great food but cooks are unable to cook more than one order at a time so if you’re NOT in a hurry or have 15 – 20 minutes to wait for your order, then give it a try.

I got a burrito and some chips here. Pricey, but tasty. Carne asada meat was moist and gently seasoned; it and the other ingredients were well-balanced together. Tortilla chips were perfect — still moist from being fried without being greasy, and coming apart in crisp flaky layers. The guy behind the counter says nothing has changed here since this was a Pasadita outpost except the name. Maybe I just came on a good day then, because IMO the food was better than anything I got during its Pasadita days. Better than the Palapita on Milwaukee too, IMO. ADDENDUMJANUARY2016: Been back a couple times since. The food has become even pricier, and it’s still worth it. This place is the real deal with al pastor cooked on a spit with pineapple drippings cascading down and broiled carne asada rather than griddle-fried chunks of flavorless meat. These things make a difference worth paying for.
