I don’t know what happened to this place. They forgot 2 parts of my order, they didn’t send their delicious home made pita, sent store bought pita, they sent crumbled feta instead of the good feta they used to send, they now charge for delivery. HUGE disappointment after being a long time customer. I am a customer no more:(

I order here all the time. I love the sandwiches and hummus, gyro plate is good too(minus the mediocre soup). My only complaint is they leave out a few sauces or a pop every now and then. They make it up to me on the next order so no big deal. The delivery is a bit slow but… it’s FREE!

One of my alltime favorite places. I always get the combination platter with rice and hummus. Best middle eastern place for me and I’ve tried several! Great service, great food, great people!

I ordered delivery through Grubhub. I like that it is free delivery and it came on time. The delivery guy was friendly. The food is OK… not very impressed. The Chicken cream chop is a bit over fried and burned. It doesn’t look like the picture on here. The rice is dry and a bit too salty… The lentil soup is very flavorful. The shish Kabob sandwich is ok. It has two or three big chunks of meat in it. It is very big and chewy so you kinda have to bite very hard. The grilled vegetables are just some onions and green pepers… They are not seasoned with anything. The onions are hardly cooked and taste almost like raw salad.

Wow! I was very well pleased. I read the reviews and this place is really good. I had the lamb chops over rice with a salid. It was worth the price. Portions are great and the price is right. I had my dinner delivered and it was very hot and freash. I truly enjhoyed everything.

The WORST customer service. Screwed up our order, told us to call the driver. Driver tells us to call them but when explain we already have he says he’ll work it out. 45 minutes go by. We call back. They give us the runaround and won’t bother to correct order. Waste of our time and money. Not worth the mediocre food and long delivery times. I’ve only posted one other negative Unilocal review before. It’s for a restaurant that’s now closed.

Their food is tasty, fresh, generous portions and moderately priced plus they provide free delivery. This would have been an easy 5 star review except they left out the kalamata olives in the Greek salad.

This place is a lame racist place ever. I came Saturday night and order only cranberry vodka and the waiter telling me I have to pay 35 $ …Top of it he was rude and drunk start attacking me almost jump on me because I told him I’m not paying for cranberry vodka 35 $. I don’t recommend this place anyone unless they are Assyrians. Not only that he told me go to your Dandana its a another Assyrian night club and more classic people and respectful. I never seen people disrespect customers because we are not Assyrian. He told me go fuck yourself b**** … Wow I don’t know who the hell this guy think about himself.

Being of Middle Eastern descent and growing up eating this type of food at home, it’s hard to find a Mediterranean restaurant that actually has tasteful food. Most Mediterranean restaurants I’ve gone to serve bland and dry food. This is not the case at Milo’s Palace. At Milo’s, everything is made to order and served hot. The cooks seem to be very experienced in making everything taste extremely well. They do not skimp on anything to reduce costs as I’ve noticed in many other tasteless Mediterranean restaurants. The meats are all perfectly seasoned and marinated. It is a family run place so it is easy to see why the food tastes like it were from home. The service is also very good. The entire staff, including the three brothers who run the place, is super friendly and will accommodate all of your needs or special requests. They also have two full bars in case you would like to get crunk.

Great place. Amazing food. Good music. Do I need to say more? The family is so genuine and humble and always make sure you’re taken care.

I LOVE this place! I grubhub with a friend once a week! Recently they have changed their packaging to Styrofoam which is not only bad for the environment it has reduced the portion size noticeably! Please go back to other packaging!

Want a quick freshly made cuisine up and ready to go within 10 minutes of calling in your order? Go to Milo’s Palace! I’m middle eastern, when it comes to how I want my meat marinated back home style(IRAQ). I go to Milo’s! They always have live entertainment on the weekends as well. Be sure to book a table a couple days ahead ! They become really jammed packed! Make sure you’re ready to dance all night long!!! Thank you very much to the Milo’s Palace facility for bringing us great Mediterranean food and great service as always!

Just ordered for the first time through Grub Hub. There was a slight mix-up, no pita with the hummus. One call and they brought the bread quickly. The food was really good. I’m glad I finally got the pita because the hummus was some of the best I have had. We will order again and maybe we can grab that fifth star.

Really though, for how freaking fast our order was delivered, it’s between four(4) and five(5) star-caliber. From placing order to delivering to our doorstep, it was merely a twenty(20) — minute time span! The last day of November concluded the Black Friday retail mania. After all the hours of work, dealing with customers, and managing tiring staff, GrubHub was the saving grace to me. And Milo’s, you surely didn’t disappoint me. I ordered through GrubHub and did I mention that Milo’s has a FREE delivery? Yeah I know your hands itch when you hear that four-letter magic word. It was an easy choice for me. I ordered the cheese bourak(similar to a mozzarella stick, but the cheese is firmer and much less gooey), a falafel sandwich for hubby, and a vegetarian combination plate(featuring falafels, hummus, and rolled dolma). The combo also came with lentil soup and salad. I told hubby to get comfy on the sofa since normally the estimated delivery time was least a 45-minute process. Well, Milo’s apparently was Jimmy John’s in disguise; a young man showed up at the door… at a really amazing speed. Everything tasted spot on. The cheese bourak was delicious. I also liked the yogurt dipping sauce that came with it. On the other hand, the falafel sandwich looked pretty hearty; hubby said he enjoyed it. Similarly, the veggie combo plate featured a decent-tasting hummus. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but for something that was delivered to me with no charge, I couldn’t complain at all. They did provide a copious amount of pita to go with the hummus, so I really appreciated it. The lentil soup was concentrated with flavor and spiced well. By the way, I thought the spicy sauce that came with the bourak was nice. I used it to dip my falafels as well. I had a plenty of leftovers for my breakfast and lunch tomorrow. For under $ 26 after tax and tips, plus free delivery, you gotta love it. Thank you, Milo’s. You will see my name popping out on your POS soon. Don’t you worry!

Fast delivery, great flavor, reasonable price. The chicken and hummus was delicious, accompanied by the generous amount of pita bread. My 19 month old loves the lentil soup!

My new go to place for Middle Eastern delivery! Ordered the Beef Shwarma entrée, very good and lots of it to the point where it could easily serve two. I don’t normally order fries for delivery because they arrive soggy and cold but the Feta Fries were really good. Highly recommend this place. Not sure what the issue is with Grub Hub and eat24 but it’s still free delivery if you order directly through Milo’s.

Milo’s is my top delivery choice for middle eastern food. I typically use Grub Hub. Their free delivery is a huge plus. My order rarely changes: Shawarma sandwich Baba Ganouj Dolma Lentil Soup can of soda It always comes on time, nice and hot. Their dolma are great — properly spiced and you get 4 larger than average pieces for $ 4. Sometimes the baba ganouj is a little too slathered in olive oil, but you can easily request them to go easy on the oil! I have really never been disappointed by these guys. Once they forgot my soda, and drove all the way back over with both a can and a bottle as an apology. Now *that* is praiseworthy customer service. Their new space on Peterson is really lovely and huge, but it always seems empty. Unilocalers need to help this place out.

This review is a long time coming. I’ve been a fan of Milo’s since I found it on GrubHub a year or so ago. I would turn to the guys at Milo’s when I would need food to fuel my college cram sessions and all-nighters. For a reasonable price, they would provide me with an abundance of food that would last me through the night. It’s been a few months since I’ve had one of those college all-nighters so when a friend asked for a recommendation for a place to eat in the neighborhood, I decided it was time to finally pay Milo’s a visit. As someone has recently noted, the restaurant has moved to 2639 W Peterson, which I hadn’t realized until I circled the old intersection several times and nearly gave up. If I hadn’t decided to call the number provided online, I probably wouldn’t have had the most epic meal time I’ve had in a while. The new space Milo’s has adopted is quite large and spacious, and even includes space for a live band. Unfortunately, it was early in the evening and in the middle of the week, so my friend and I were the only people in the restaurant. We were allowed to pick our table, which ended up being one of the very large booths along the wall. The employees that attended to us were very polite and charismatic, and even helped my friend find an outlet to charge her phone. I’m more than pleased to report that the food were served was as amazing as a remembered it to be months ago. The falafel was warm and soft, and the hummus was flavorful. We were offered both pita chips and soft pita, which are both great options(always get both, because duh). The amount of food you get for an entrée is still astounding to me. I chose the $ 7.99 gyro plate, and was given the plate full of gyro meat, jasmine rice, onions, and tomatoes as well as a side salad and lentil soup. I worry the amount of food might be too much, but if you’re looking for more bang for your buck, look no further. Tl;dr — if you’re looking for warm service and an abundance of food for a great price, stop by Milo’s. Call them, GrubHub them, send them smoke signals, whatever. Just get some Milo’s in your life right now.

(Just submitted an address change to Unilocal powers, this location has moved from Western ave to 2639 W Peterson. NOTE! They are on PETERSON Ave. I got a strange note from Unilocal,so who knows when the address change will happen.) Christmas eve 2013 I was on the hunt for good lamb cuts at the butcher shops on the Paki side of Devon ave. I was hungry and thinking about trying a new place for a shawarma sandwich. A quick look at the Unilocal app on my Android showed a few locations nearby. I clicked the«highly rated» option and was met with Milo’s pita place. The address was a few blocks away on Western & Rosemont so I called and placed an order for a chicken shawarma sandwich. Ordering was not simple, the gal that answered the phone responded as if answering the phone to her home. She didn’t know the menu or what meats were available as a shawarma sandwich. After a few minutes with the owner, I was told to stop by in five minutes for pickup. Note the parenthesis above, at the time of my order I did not know they recently moved, nor was it mentioned to me. I’ll save you the play by play but it took quite awhile to locate them. About the chicken shawarma, despite the reviews & tips posted. this sandwich was terribly plain. A plain tasting shawarma is a horrible expression of the sandwich also the bread was tough, I felt like a dog trying to rip away bites. Chicken pieces were chunky, tossed in a plain yogurt like sauce with a ton of lettuce. I’d hoped there would be a tasty hummus or tahini sauce involved… not at all. My carryout was served with a chili garlic sauce which was out of place, since it’s a sauce typically found at a Vietnamese or Chinese restaurant. Now I should add; I like mixing hot sauces with my meals, whichever is best for the meal and it doesn’t matter who made it. But a good shawarma should have its own sauce or flavor to stand on, before having to add something to it. For $ 5.50, I was terribly full of a mediocre feeling. Needless to say, this was a one & done experience. Milo seemed like a nice guy and gave me a nice reminder to check them out in the future for a quick sandwich. The restaurant was dead that afternoon but it was Christmas eve.
