Midway Tree Service

The husband decided to partially take a tree down in front of our house. It sat there for almost 2 months and looked like crap. Finally I got sick of looking at it and called these guys to take down the rest of the tree.
$ 250 to take the tree down (about 25 – 30 feet high) and drill the stump out. Ouch. I don’t know how much this stuff usually costs but that’s a lot of dough especially considering it was not a full sized tree — we already took down about ¹⁄₃ of the tree.
They were easy to work with and had it done 2 days after my initial call. My only complaint is that they buried all of my flowers with wood chips and the flowers weren’t even right next to the tree or anything. It would have been nice if they: 1) told me about the possibility of my flowers being buried upon the initial estimate visit — then I could have covered them or transplanted them 2) took more time to make sure that they were more careful about dispersing the wood chips so that they would not cover the flowers. I know it may seem silly to complain about the flowers — but they are expensive and I put a lot of work into them this summer!
Hopefully, we won’t need to take down anymore trees. But these guys were pretty good. They are also fully licensed and insured.
