Melon Express Catering

I am delighted to write a review for Melon Express. First the food is extraordinary. I have had salmon prepared almost every way that I can think of, and yet Melon Express managed to cook a delicious salmon with a wonderful tomato based relish. I think it is fair to say that it is the best salmon I have ever had.
They paired the salmon with a delicious spinach salad with mandarin oranges and strawberries, and a wonderful vegetable medley. A simple meal with outstanding flavors.
So you could say that caterers should prepare a delicious meal. But above and beyond the meal, I had an extraordinary server, Tammy. She was on time, polite, professional and exceedingly accommodating. She basically put me off duty and took over, excellently. I was able to pay attention to my guests, with her being an unseen presence in the background, making sure that we had everything needed.
Okay, fair enough they should provide an excellent server. But over the top was the way that Melon Express squeezed in my order when they were already booked. They worked with me to create a delicious meal that they could stretch to prepare. Everything was on time. Everything was delicious. The driver that dropped off the food was courteous. I could not have asked for a better caterer. I would highly recommend Melon Express, and I will use them again. You won’t be disappointed.

I attended a birthday party this weekend that was catered by Melon Express. The food was unbelievable. We were treated to Soul Food & Gumbo in a martini glass. The Soul Food Martini had Collard Greens, Macaroni & Cheese & Catfish. The Gumbo had Rice, Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, & Chicken. Both were seasoned to perfection. The side choice was either cornbread, dinner roll, or pretzel bread. Delicious beyond words. I had to try each one. Every single person at this event was in awe, with the presentation & the food. The staff was nothing but class. Very friendly and extremely polite.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding that Melon Express catered. The food was absolutely divine! I don’t eat pork or beef so I was thrilled that they didn’t use any in their products. Meat eaters didn’t seem disappointed either. Instead of regular swedish meatballs they served chicken meatballs which were delish! i will definitely consider them when planning an event that i need to have catered.
