Unfortunately this McDonald’s is conveniently located in my neighborhood. I have ordered from this establishment several times. Therefore I think I am justified in doing this review. Yesterday like any other trip to this fast food chain I placed an order through the drive-thru. I ordered a South-west salad with medium fry. Naturally your suppose to receive salad dressing of your choosing. Well that of course did not work out for me. Instead of receiving ranch dressing I end up with french dressing. The salad did not have all of the ingredients evenly distributed. I had the beans and corn on one side and tortilla strips on the other. My grilled chicken was not properly cut. Now I am going to dig into the lack of customer service. The cashier/food preparer usually have no personality when accepting orders. On top of that the car in front of me had some issues with their order after pulling off. The customer randomly parked their car and walked back to the window where I was waiting to pay for my order. I had to move my car because the guy was unable to squeeze through to the window. Once we caught the cashier attention he addressed his issue. The cashier did not redirect the previous customer back to his car. He told the customer«one minute», them left him standing in the cold weather. On any given day I will have any number of issues with this location primarily the service. You can’t always blame the employees, management has something to do with the service. Finally, I do not venture inside this establishment EVER! There is usually an armed security guard present and for good reasons. The last time I went inside I notice an ambulance outside with lights flashing. After several inquires I found out the guard sprayed an individual while they were in the bathroom. Please do not ask me what happened I left right after the explanation. Can somebody tell me when a Panera or Chipotle will be moving into the area?

I don’t eat McDonalds often but when I do I expect that my food is fresh, hot and accurate. The soda was literally colored water and they didn’t give me the sauce I requested with my nuggets. I got no sauce at all. It’s a real inconvenience having to drive back and head into the store just to complain. Moreover it costs you more in gas as well as time. I’d rather part ways and give my business to the number of other establishments in the area.

NEVER, EVERGOHERE. I went here around 11pm, desperate for Dinner Two, and I was willing to look past the stares I got driving up to this place by the people who loitered outside. Shady as fuhhhhhhh. But hey, it’s Chicago, I don’t mind. But this was my experience. Girl over the speaker: Can I help you? Me: YEP I need one McDouble, one McChicken, and one large Diet Coke. Girl over the speaker: … *60 seconds pass* Me; So uh, did you get my order? Girl: Yeah, a double, a chicken, and a coke. Me: A DIET coke. Girl: Yeah, pull around. Sigh. I pull around. I get my food, I get my drink, I pull out quickly without checking anything. Because at this point I feared for my life, having sat there for 5 minutes while being stared down in the dark of night, so to me any food/drink was fine. Well, so I thought. Let’s review my order, item by item. McChicken — the top and bottom of the bun, somehow, had gotten completely stuck to the wrapper. So I was left with a ripped bun resembling white bread on my sandwich. I dunno how this happens to a bun, but it was steamed or microwaved when it was too wet, so it stuck to the wrapper. McDouble — this bun, somehow, was hard as a hockey puck. Keep in mind the McChicken and McDouble use identical buns, so once again, I don’t even know how this happened. The beef also didn’t taste right, but that’s splitting hairs considering the next one. Diet Coke — Ah, you’re thinking, okay, she didn’t give you a diet Coke, she gave you a regular coke. And you’re right! But the icing on the cake is that my Coke tasted like it had an extra ingredient. An extra ingredient made by the good people at Bacardi. I can’t say it was rum for sure, but I’ve had plenty of drinks in my day, and there was something very odd in my Coke, and it wasn’t just the corn syrup. SOYEAH, NEVERGOHEREEVER

The service is kind of slow here. And I don’t like the shady people that hang out in the dining area and outside the restaurant. And every once in a while they have that old«The ice cream/shake machine is broke.» Sometimes with these Black neighborhoods I think they just don’t feel like making shakes or ice cream.

I won’t be critical because it was only a Mcdonalds but it wasn’t in a very good neighborhood, and I especially know that because I used to live there(Bronzeville). The people didn’t seem so smart either and they were also pretty lazy. But my real problem was the service. It was horrible, the person who gave us our food ate half of our fries right in front of us! And later, me and my dad called that Mcdonalds and found out that it was the manager who was eating our food. I’ll never go back!

This is not a family-friendly location. There’s ALWAYS a crowd of undesirables hanging outside, and even inside. The police are always circling around, sometimes 2 – 3 police cars at once. I also witnessed an older gentleman pick up who I believe to have been a prostitute. He pulled up shortly after I did. I sat in the car for a while handling business on the phone. He stayed in his car. After a while, a young man exited with a woman dressed«differently» and watched her walk over to his car. They drove away together. I decided it was time to go…

I’ve had no problems with the service, my problem is the shady characters that hang around. The hate for this place is probably because of that. I’m gonna give it 3 stars because of the service I’ve received especially from the manager himself, but some of the people who come in to sell stuff and hang around yelling to one another are more than annoying.

By far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Since I live close by I wanted to give them a chance but no more. The service is extremely slow and the last time we went, my son had hairs on his burger. Disgusting. Do not go here. You will only regret it.

This Mcdonald I rarely go to. Food is dry, service is slow. I got the oatmeal and sausage buscuit and they both were not good and dry This the type of place you forget to ask for jelly, butter or ketup because you’re trying to hurry and get out of there. Its too crowded too many people hang in there like peddlers, drunks and crack heads. Dont ever lose anything like a wallet or phone bc its long gone in a matter of seconds.

I ordered the Premium Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich however, when I arrived home to eat my meal it was not the Premium Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich. There was no bacon or cheese, they put way to much mayo on the sandwich. The sandwich did not look eatable, it actually looked disgusting. The fries were cold and thrown in the bag. I’m shocked they would send something of the sort out to a customer. I usually do not eat fast food however I will not be visiting this location ever again.

I’ve read the reviews, so I know that this place has been less than popular over the years. However, I think they’ve made some improvements. I’ve never been inside, but the drive-thru is always quick and accurate. The service has been friendly and attentive on all of my visits as well.

Was solicited by panhandler four times while waiting to pay cashier for food after placing order. Person stood uncomfortably close when I pulled out money to pay for meal. Cashier observed this happening and said nothing, nor did the manager. I watched this person ask everyone in line for money. Was also solicited as I entered the restaurant — also from inside the restaurant. The clerk did not get the order correct — required a revisit to the line. The crew seemed indifferent and very untrained. The place was also not very clean. McDonald’s corporate should investigate this place — it gives McDonald’s a bad name. I would avoid this McDonalds.

This McDonald’s is improving because they changed management and how they have people who actually work. It’s a shame they had to get a Hispanic crew to change this place!!!

The reason I gave this McDonald’s 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the young lady that was behind the counter. She had great customer service skills and although there were a lot of people in line she seemed to have a system and got the line down pretty quickly! I was also charged 2.99 for a sausage egg McMuffin that was listed at 2.79 and I was given my difference back even though they said the sandwich was suppose to be 2.99. I would have went back to that McDonald’s if I wasn’t at a volunteering event for seniors that day so I had no choice but to choke down my hard crisp eggs, burnt muffin and dried out sausage. I don’t understand where Quality Control is going for many of these fast food restaurants, its like because we have a value menu or a dollar menu we don’t have to serve food that is fresh and hot! Even if I was in the area unless I was just getting a coffee I wouldn’t go back to this McDonald’s! Just so sad!

Good coffee. TERRIBLEAWFUL, RUDESTAFF. I was given a roll of pennies as change because the girl was too busy visiting with her friends to try to get other coins in exchange for my dollar bill.

This McDonald’s is one of the most disgusting I’ve ever been to. I don’t know why I keep going back through the drive-thru(I guess deep down I want it to get better), but I keep getting disappointed. I got a McRib a few days ago and that made my decision to never return to this location. The bread tasted old and the meat had a vile aftertaste. Dis-gus-ting!!!

This place is a mess! If I could give it zero stars I would. Every time I go in there I have to wait in line — morning, mid-day, lunch, night… doesn’t matter. The floors are always filthy and there usually is a weird and funky smell. However, its close to work, and sometimes I get desperate. Two weeks ago I went through the drive through with a co-worker for iced coffees. We ordered and paid and when we pulled up to the last window we were informed there was no ice. At that point they also did not understand why we did not want our coffees. A week later I waited in line forever for an icecream. Only to be told they have no shakes or icecream. I am not even a big McDonalds person, but I would think ice, shakes and icecream would be things they could manage to not screw up. Guess not.

I hate this McDonald’s. It’s always sooooooo crowded, the drive-thru is a mess, and they always fill the glass ¾ full, with no ice! it also feels like the prices are higher than other Mickey D’s. I dunno… maybe not? I only stop here when in a pinch after a ball game when I’m starving, and tired of ball park food.
