I came in tonight — in a SNOWSTORM — to try«McPick 2.» To my extreme displeasure, I learned that this location DOESNOTHAVETHIS. I left without buying anything. I ate somewhere else. You have lost a sale. You have alienated me as a customer. Why do you ADVERTISE stuff if you don’t SELL it?

Decent service but this place can get scary on busy nights with the types of crowds that show up.

Even thought it’s super busy, they still get through customers quickly. It’s clean to for the amount of traffic it gets. It run very well and you can’t complain.

I’m sure during busier hours and Cubs games this place can get a little chaotic. But my visit on a Tuesday afternoon around lunch was pretty pleasant. A decent amount of people in for lunch and I was helped almost immediately. My cashier was super nice, took my order accurately and I got my food minutes later. I love when visits at retail/fast food go so well as this visit did!

I have stopped here several times as a last resort to use the toilet. They are about as clean as what you would expect from a 24 hour fast food restaurant. I can’t comment on the food though.

Lets face it, pound for pound their food is not cheap. You plunk down 7 dollars and you hope you are lucky enough to get something better than lukewarm food. And the geniuses at corporate headquarters are wondering why their sales are just lukewarm.

Arrived at 11am on a Sunday morning STARVING and in a hurry to make an appointment. The drive-thru line was 8 cars deep. I pulled in, waited 4 minutes and hadn’t inched up, not even an inch. Decided to park and run in as there were only two cars in the lot. There was a line of four people with one cashier. Again, waited 4 minutes and not one person had placed an order. I left, still hungry. This McDonald’s is not«fast food.»

So dumb Lord forbid you’re hungry during a damn cubs game because the parking lot is closed and only open for VIP news people and certain employees Yeah guess me and my children can’t just sit in and get food Thanks a lot !!!

This is a not the best McDonald’s I’ve been in. Service is kind of slow and confusing when they’re very busy. The staff is nice enough. Food came out well prepared but poorly packaged.

This McDonalds is clean and the employees are friendly, service is quick and food is neatly prepared. I see some negative reviews about this place but keep in mind that Wrigley field is across the street and when there are games going on we get thousands of people that don’t live here trashing the place or staying to get drunk and careless and their go to spot to unleash their drunken shenanigans is this McDonalds. I’ve been living in the area for 7yrs and this is my go to McDonalds, they have never given me a reason to stop coming unlike the filthy, understaffed, long wait, and sloppily prepared food Burger King on the next street which I wrote a review about.

Under Bad Management There is no reason this McDonalds location could be amazing in my opinion if it wasn’t for some key problems with the way it’s operated. First lets start with an excessive amount of loitering that was taking place upon arriving at this location. It was around 11pm and there were clearly people passed out on the booths that did not belong there. While ordering, my friend asked for an unsweetened ice tea, to which the response from the staff was«oh we are out». The location was not busy and they had plenty of staff that could have been keeping an eye on the level of the tea so that never happened in the first place. The food that was received was completely satisfactory, but as one picture shows below, there are NONAPKINS out for the public to get themselves. If you need a napkin, you must go to the front counter and ask. I don’t know the reason for this, I’m sure at some point, someone stole some napkins or made a complete mess out of them, but in my opinion that is no reason to completely remove them from the dispensers all together.

For being right next to Wrigley Field, you would think they would have some exceptional service. Oh, quite the contrary. I ordered a small coffee and two large fries-which, by the way, is only $ 2.75. I noticed that the lady after me had gotten her food before I did. Oh, no, they didn’t! Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I waited a little longer for my order. Nothing. Finally I went up to the boy that took my order. He asked, «What did you order again?» A small coffee and two large fries! It’s not like I waited 30 minutes… I don’t know how he could have forgotten in such a short span of time. Looks like he gave the wrong order to that lady after me and had to deal with that. Maybe he was flustered? So I got my coffee… and I’m still waiting on my fries. Finally, another lady asked me what I needed. I could have rudely said, «My order.» but I was patient and told her that I was still waiting on my two large fries. She went and got them in no more than a minute. Yessir, a small coffee and two large fries took 5 – 10 minutes to get. The restaurant wasn’t busy by any means. So much for the FAST food industry…

If you’re traveling on the El for an hour to get to Wrigleyville after pre-gaming make sure to run straight to McDonald’s and ignore the sign on the bathroom door. Just barge in and relieve your self regardless of the state of the bathroom or the patrons inside.

So I NEVER eat at McDonald’s unless I’m drunk, hungover or desperate(or any combo of the 3). This time I decided to be the ultimate nerdy fat chick and ride my bike through the drive thru to get me a milkshake. Thank God my neighborhood McDonald’s is the Wrigleyville location, conveniently situated across the street from Wrigley Field and cradled by all of the drunken revelry of the area. The line was long for a post Cubs loss-Hawks win Tuesday night. But I queued up, placed my order and everything went smoothly. The employees are always friendly. I haven’t actually gone inside in ages as the crowd inside can be a bit eclectic — lots of drunks, bums and college kids(not really my scene, ya dig?) so the drive thru is the way to go. McDonald’s has been slowly expanding their menu to include more healthy options which I give them kudos for. I find it funny that so many people write reviews dissing the employees. They work at a McDonald’s serving mainly a$$holes all day, so give them a break. And you’re eating at McDonald’s not at the freaking Ritz Carlton, so just let your inner fat kid(and outer fat kid) enjoy the deliciously unhealthy treats and be done with it!

This is the worst McDonald’s drive thru in the city. I have had to drive off countless times and for some reason I keep going back. McDonald’s is what it is, but we do enjoy it from time to time. This location has $ 0.79 cent ice crème cones, so we will swing by once in a while. The problem here is the employees. This location hires completely incompetent people. They make a simply task like taking an order damn near impossible. Last night was the tipping point for me. We wanted to get our beloved ice crème cones and there was one car at the drive thru ordering. For some reason the car ordering didn’t move for almost five minutes. Finally they completed their order and we drove up to order. The woman mumbles something into the speaker. I asked her to say that again and she said she would be a couple minutes before she took my order. We waited 10 minutes and then we decided to drive off. There was a line of at least 5 cars behind me and I know at least two drove off. Not good McDonald’s!

Average McDonalds that has to deal with the drunk crowd every weekend after the bars close. I think they try to keep things orderly considering drunk people can get rowdy and that’s why they have a police officer standing at the door. I mean I can’t really say anything else because the food is always the same. But I think it’s a better alternative than eating at Taco Bell.

The single slowest McDonald’s on the planet. So slow, your food will be cold. Enjoy your cold food while you stare at a wall hailing Sammy Sosa’s steroid-fueled home run derby.
