Main Stage Vapes

A friend recommended this place to me based on his experience with the friendly staff and great selection and since I was in the market for a new setup I thought I stop by.
The place is big, really big. Very nice layout. They have a tremendous selection of stuff. In short, it looks great.
Unfortunately, the sales guy was less than professional. Very pushy, argumentative, dismissive of customers and some of their own products — and generally quite negative. Out of their whole selection of mods, he could really only recommend one, everything else was sub-​par. Same with juices, most of them where no good (why do you have them in your store, then?) — and he could only recommend a few.
It was a shame, because I was really excited about the place in the neighborhood. I would have liked to come back, but I don’t think I will after this experience.

Nice and spacious shop. It’s my second time here, back for more vape juice, batteries, and battery rewraps. The guys are cool to talk to and knowledgeable. They are constantly getting new stuff which I plan to keep coming back to see. They also have some comfy couches and video games if you just want to hang around and chat. Definitely going to be a regular shop that I’ll be visiting for my vape needs.

These guys are great. I’ve been to a few other vape shops that really come off as elitist and expect you to already know what your doing which was really intimidating for me when I started. I came into this place with very little knowledge and they helped me through it. I pretty much exclusively buy my juice from these guys, and Luke especially has helped me out with suggestions of flavors that I might like. Except a few times he’s usually spot on. The one downside is that I like to buy whole spools of wire, which these guys don’t do. That being said, it’s a small price to pay for the knowledge and hassle free service from genuinely good people.

The staff and customers were very friendly and welcoming. When I asked questions, everyone had information that was extremely helpful. They told me about products and were actually honest about it. It didn’t feel like they were trying to push only the expensive products, but rather the most appropriate ones for my situation and needs. Luke was helping me and I learned a lot about the juices. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be a returning customer for sure.

These guys are great on all the ships all the staff is very nice. They help me get my mom off of cigarettes and then to vapor. They adjusted her device on more than one occasion explaining the reason for the adjustment all the way. They also let you try different flavors explaining how the body’s receptors and stuff is different from standard and cigarette use. Most important you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Strongly recommend this place!

Second time coming and they were awesome at the builds again and went and found the juice I needed.

My $ 40 dollar vape pen broke in less than 10 days. When I went back to talk to Luke he said that it was just a cheap vape pen and there’s nothing he can do for me. I felt like he just wanted to make a sale. I told him a just needed something decent to help me quit smoking cigarettes and I asked him if the vapecode was good enough and he said that it was since I’m not a hardcore into vaping. I know there’s way more expensive pens but like I said I just needed something to replace the cigarettes. I would definitely not be going back. I felt like I got ripped off!

Mike is a really cool guy, he helped me out with my new tank which I have trouble with but he found out the coil did not match with the ohms for my itaste mod. He replace the coils free of charge. Great place with customer service to get you into vaping or upgrade with your gears.

I stopped here after going to my usual spot at the Lincolnwood Mall was out of my usual coils. My friend and I couldn’t find parking because there was a van full of minors parked diagonally taking up three spaces and rocking out to One Direction (not making this up) waiting for their friend who was old enough to finish up inside (not a great first impression). We waited twenty minutes and were completely ignored by the two guys working, I even pulled my friend aside and whispered, «Are we being ignored?» When I finally spoke up one of the guys said it would be just a moment longer (he was building a mod by himself, not even helping someone else) he said he’d be with us «in a few minutes» so I asked if we could please just buy our coils and go. He relented and at the register told me the price for one pack of coils was $ 21.99 (these same coils are sold for 12.99 at Lincolnwood and no more than $ 15 at myriad other shops I’ve been to) and I elected to buy one single coil instead of getting ripped off since I really needed one (that was over $ 5). It looked like they had a decent selection of liquids but the samples are all put away on the back wall behind the desk so you can’t try any without bring helped, which we weren’t even acknowledged so that wasn’t happening. Guess I won’t be coming back here as I work hard for my money and don’t tend to throw it away on 80% markups only to be ignored in the process. I would recommend going up the road slightly to the kiosk at Lincolnwood, you can’t try anything but if you know what you want the prices can’t be beat and they will work with you.

Peter is the man, made a great effort with educating me on the product before i made my decision of buying a vape. Highly recommend this place

First time coming here, had found the place on the web so I decided to pop in. Luke and Peter were extremely helpful and cool guys. Let me taste a ton of flavors. Great shop.

I went in yesterday to pick up a few things. Luke and Jess were great. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back to Main Stage Vapes. I’d just hope those two will be working the next time I’m there. Thanks guys!

If you want to quit smoking, vaping is your alternative. I’ve been doing it for two months now, and don’t want to smoke my camel menthols or any cigs anymore.

There I was, headed home from work after a rough day, and I saw a new vape shop. So I had to stop in and check it out. I have rather specific tastes in my vaping liquids, so I tend to buy about half my juice online, and half from storefronts. Since I was waiting for an online order to arrive, I wasn’t really planning to buy anything.
I’m glad I went in. The vibe here was very friendly, laid back and helpful. Lots of good conversation and a willingness to educate, without being condescending. As with the good vape shops, the staff encouraged me to try whatever I wanted. David made some excellent suggestions. In fact, his second suggestion «Perpetual Check» was what I bought. I noticed that there were several product lines here that I’d not seen at other local shops, and they were the higher quality ones. I have older model Kangertanks for which they had coils, so that made me happy too.
I am looking forward to my next trip!

Love this cool new Vape store! It’s a great place to hang out. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and they have a huge variety of products to choose from!

First off, Peter and Mike are super polite. Secondly they’re knowledgeable on the products. At one point in my experience there today they got busy and Peter managed to make sure that we were all taken care of appropriately.
They’re BYOB which is pretty awesome. They’ve got great prices, and you can sit and chill with them and other patrons and learn about new mods, especially if you’re new or semi new to vaping! I’ll definitely be going back!

Exp vapor and this shop didn’t disappoint me! They have Glas juice for god sake !!! Employee and owner was there and had great service and they have a Great layout, with plenty of space. Great spot people; if in the area drop by them. Oh and they have parking great shop, product, and people ! Thanks for the new vapor shark and the Glas pound cake is a awesome juice
