This place always has the cutest bikinis and accessories. Some items are very expensive while others are reasonable. The prices really range which is nice. My favorite thing about the store is their accessory section. They have the best selection of necklaces, scarves, some home items and purses.

Londo Mondo is my «go to» store for every occasion. They carry active wear, an unlimited selection of swimwear, beautiful lifestyle and dressy clothing and amazing, unique jewelry and other accessories. All of the staff are style conscious, customer oriented, honest and creative.
I am always asked where I shop because the pieces are stunning and stylish. Run, don’t walk. Either location carries great brands and items suitable to elegant taste. They become your stylists and friends. Bravo Londo Mondo!

Great customer service and helpful when I was in a pinch to find two new suits for my spring vacation.
Love the selection & have received nothing but compliments on the two suits I ended up deciding on. Would definitely come back given the convenience to my neighborhood and excellent service.

Everyone dreads shopping for a bathing suit especially me. This was the best shopping experience I’ve ever had buying one!
Customer service: 5+ Stars. Carrie, the store manager took her time. She was very kind and helpful. She listened to my likes/​dislikes and pulled several suits for me that I loved. The hardest part of the shopping was narrowing it down to one.
Selection: Excellent especially for the winter/​early spring.
Price: All the items were expensive. This was not enough for me to take a star away because of the customer service I received. Finding a bathing suit that works for you can be difficult and I found not one, but several. Thanks to Carrie.

I don’t really go out of my way to write Unilocal reviews but great staff! I called to ask about a certain pair of inline skates I was looking for and Brittany was the sweetest person to talk to! She found the last pair in my size and held them for me for THREE days because of my work schedule! When I went in to grab them, Brittany was so helpful & made sure they fit properly while explaining to me how the lacing system worked. She was as excited about my new skates as I was & it just made the whole experience at this store so much more enjoyable than the typical, «Thank you, have a nice day» attitude many shops have. I did, however, have to rush out of there before I started buying all their bathing suits and sun dresses because they were too cute!

I have been on the hunt for high-​quality, lifestyle clothing that doesn’t scream to everyone that I am a SAHM (stay at home mom). To achieve a look that is classy, active, and comfortable, I usually have to go to three or four places. But still, the activewear is just that. It rarely is pretty — comfortable, but not a complete look.
Londo Mondo is a one-​stop shop for all my lifestyle outfit needs! And who would have known that they have all this great clothing AND amazing bathing suits? Having lived in Chicago for over 13 years, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this.
Heidi Klum has been working to create beautiful lifestyle clothing for urban women like me, but I haven’t seen the whole package — at least not until I discovered my new favorite go-​to store, Londo. Not just swimwear! They also cater to customers… Not many stores left that understand that «customer is king.»

I purchased K2 Radical 100’s and the frame bent and wheel came off with only 2 – 3 hours of skate time. Did I mention, these are $ 300 skates. I had these for less than a week! These were not abused either as I was skating on a black top paved road when it happened. I’m in the middle of trying to get my money back and they are playing hard ball. They tell me there policy is no return after the skates touch the pavement; that’s understandable — but NOT for a defective skate that K2 will replace with brand new ones anyway. WHY would I want this skate again, considering it’s a piece of crap!

I visited Londo Mondo during lunch today. I was lured in by the «75% off selected merchandise» ad on the window. I managed to steer clear of the full-​priced merchandise in favor for the sales. I am so glad that practicing Bikram yoga has been tightening my rear ’cause the yoga shorts I scored for eighteen bucks are sweet. SWEET! Over-​all, quite pricey, but as mentioned before, where else would you find swimsuits/​beach ware in the middle of tundra Chicago? Nice staff, cute clothes. I’ll be back.

This store is a great concept. Because really, where else can you pick from more than 10 swimsuits in the winter in Chicago? Buuuutttt, it’s way overpriced! They have cute bikinis, but they’re marked up about 25% over retail. The sales associates are very helpful and knowledgeable about the styles, labels, etc. But I found the same bikini, in the size I needed at Bloomingdales for $ 75 less than the Londo Mondo price. That’s too much of a difference for me to ignore. Such a shame because I’m all for supporting local businesses and the sales folks there were awesome. But with such a difference in pricing, it’s hard to shop there without feeling like you’re getting ripped off. If I were independently wealthy and price wasn’t an issue, I’d totally be there though!

Very fantastic sales on yoga pants, stuff. They absolutely always have something very cool at an affordable price, and some pricey garb as well. All of it fun to look at and the staff is excellent!
