CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED: You will want to leave this chic boutique with something. Anything. Even though it’s likely that you can’t afford it. Ever.
Aside from that, I have grown obsessed with this place. This clothes here are, in a word: MAGNIFICENT!
I found item after item of incredibly unique, stylish, fashion-​forward pieces that any fashion maverick would want to claim as their own.
You should definitely come in and take a look. You will not be disappointed!

I met Lissa, the owner, during a fashion event in the summer and she told me about her store and I was really excited to stop by and check it out. I can safely say that it is now going to be one of my regular shopping spots and that’s a lot to say as I mainly save my shopping for New York. She carries very wearable and complimenting lines and the store is architecturally perfect to compliment the clothes and make you feel so comfortable that you may be in your own living room. Check out the clothes by Jarbo in her store — I bought three Jarbo pieces when I went to her store and continue to live in them. You won’t regret any purchase you make here! Not to mention Lissa and her mother provide the ideal in customer service.

The most expensive clothes I’ve purchased but months later my satisfaction level remains super high because they are modern, unique, and of such great quality I feel happy and attractive with each wear. I’ve received so many compliments on my Lissa pieces I can barely wear normal clothes. Lissa is more like a personal stylist than a business owner. She truly loves to help you look great.

At first I was really excited to find this store. Lissa is the sweetest girl; she is always helpful and has a great eye for fashion.
I have bought two pieces of garments here: they cost over a grand. Great pieces, yes. You can really get much better deals online if you know where to look.
The store is usually pretty empty on weekdays though, and Lissa would be happy to spend hours with your browsing. So if you are into that kind of customer service, I would recommend it.
and of course, bring a few credit cards just to be sure.

We absolutely love this store. Lissa and her Mom are great hosts and always take extra time to give their opinion. They are great-​hearted people who are in this for love of people not love of money.
Its somewhere that stands above the rest. Not pretentious and you feel you are part of the family.
Parking is 2 dollars about 10 feet away which can’t be beat!

WOW this place is expensive!
Not for me, I don’t appreciate expensive clothes (but don’t mind a designer purse).
I couldn’t really see anything in here bigger than a size 6 or cheaper than $ 150 for a blouse…

I’m truly impressed with this fashion-​forward women’s boutique, an absolute gem tucked away in the adorable Maxwell St. district.
Carrying super sleek lines by designers from all over — previously undiscovered in Chicago! — Lissa has something you’ll love whether you’re looking for bold, unabashedly beautiful jewelry or a to-​die-​for, totally-​put-​together look.
Parking is a breeze, there’s great eating down the street, and the shopping is totally fun and easy.

I recently moved to the South Loop area and I have to say, if you aren’t familiar with Lissa on Maxwell — it is worth a trip down (ps there are great restaurants and bars on the block so you can always drop your significant other off — while you shop)! And as the review above states… the parking in the area is super easy! This boutique is unlike any other boutique in Chicago — it is truly cutting edge! Lissa has the trends before they even hit the streets — she is ahead of the curve. This is a high end boutique — but the pieces are unique, incredibly well made, and well worth the expense! Honestly, Liss had me trying on Castle Starr and Madison Marcus months before I saw the stars wearing those labels in the tabloids — she is unreal! And the service is phenomenal — they aren’t just trying to make a sale, they can look at you and tell you which pieces will work and which will not. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

1 of my new favorite boutiques in Chicago! I was in the boutique for hours b/​c I had to try on everything in the store & ended up buying most of it, which is not normally like me. It was all so cute, I could not resist! Lissa has trendy, yet simple/​elegent clothes that are different from every other boutique. You can find an outfit for work, «going out» or even an event. You will surely make all of your friends jealous with a Lissa on Maxwell outfit and people will think you went to a NY boutique to find it! She’s has jeans by Raven — they’re to die for! They’re so flattering. I like them better than True Religion, Paige, Joe’s & Hudson’s! The staff is EXTREMELY nice and helpful, which was surprising for a high-​end boutique. I would highly recommend this boutique and it’s worth the trip to University Village — which is right by South Loop, West Loop and UIC.
