I came in looking for some very specific books on theology and misc Christian topics. I did not have any books in mind, though. The staff was excellent. I’m not 100% sure but it seems like a lot of them are current /​former Moody students and were able to recommend popular books and authors. I am a literary snob but I really appreciated the time they took to assist me.

This place is especially good if you’re in need of books that speak in-​depth about Christian theology. There is also a great selection of Bibles. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They often have specials for churches and Christian educators. I only wish their music selection was more expansive. There’s not many CDs available, and there are a lot of Christian music artists and genres that the store does not carry.

Great selection of books — particularly the seminary section in the lower level. Customers can check out the latest in seminary syllabus reading for all the classes offered at Moody, which is pretty awesome. Also, I bought a nice piece of Christian art for my home, but when I took it to the register to check out, it did not have a price tag. The cashier had manager level authority, and sold me the piece for only $ 10. I was pretty surprised but very grateful.

This is a nice Christian book store that’s connected to the Moody Bible Institute Campus. Many of the students get their school books from there because they get they get a discount. The price of the books are pretty good without the discount too. They have a good selection of books, ministry materials, and music. They also carry little household nooks and crannies. T-​shirts, signs, Bible covers, backpacks, etc.

Years ago I’d come here when I needed Christian anything for many occasion. I especially liked this bookstore over others because they offered all kinds of Christian literature, CD music, t-​shirts, hats, the list went on. Since the launch of on-​line music, their music department has now left. Still operating on two floors of all kinds of merchandise, take some time to look around, they’ve got bargain and discount areas in some areas of the store. My last visit I picked up some Thanksgiving pottery at 80% off, man do I love a good deal. When in need of a Christian gift, study bible or a bangin’ everyday bible, check them out.

The staff is generally really helpful. They have a wide range of religious (Christian) books, CD’s, Cards, and Gift Items. They will also imprint a name or phrase in gold/​silver foil on a book for you if you want for very little extra cost. They will also order books for you if they do not have it in stock. However, just an FYI, they have irregular business hours, so either go on a Saturday afternoon, or leave work a little early. Also, if you want them to order you a book Lifeway will not order most liberal theology books or charismatic material because it is a SBC company so it is more conservative.

Huge Christian bookstore with great picks for any kind of religion-​related info. They have a huge collection of books, all well organized and easy to browse through. They carry lots of other little things too — little gifts, t-​shirts, etc.
