I brought my car in because my parents heard this guy was «nice» and is Korean (as is my family). I brought it in LAST NOVEMBER (2009) to have my front speedometer changed out. He ordered the part 3 or 4 times (not his fault) but none of them worked. Each time I had to be the one to call him to see if my part was in. He doens’t return phone calls EVER!!! I finally tracked down a part and took it to a dealership to install. I was told that a locking mechanism was broken and now Mr. Lee won’t pay to have it fixed. It is now 11 months later and after making 8 phone calls in 3 days and leaving my number with assurances that the owner, Mr. Lee, would call back, he has not. He is a poor business owner, mechanic, and is the most unreliable person I have dealt with in a very long time.
Take your car elsewhere. I recommend Marvin’s Auto Repair at 1828 W. Belmont. 773−296−2584. Now this guy can save you money on repairs, is quick, and is very reliable. Paying less is not cheaper if you have to go back to the shop over a dozen times, make several dozen phone calls to check on ordered parts, and end up taking it to a competent mechanic in the end. Sadly, this part is still not fixed!!!
