Machelle really is the best around when it comes to eyebrows… however, I had the same problem with her not being available for the last few months. Each time I called they would have a different excuse (she’s sick today, she’s not in this week, she’s on vacation…). I called today and inquired and it turns out she is working at Origins in Macy’s…but they don’t do eyebrows! ;(I think I’ll stop by and see if she does any work on the side.

I loved Mashelle. This was my first time to the Lancome Brow Station and I went to get my brows shaped before my wedding. I told her I wanted them to be soft, natural and not too thin. She took her time on them, waxed, plucked and trimmed, and I came out with the best shaped brows I’ve ever had! They were perfectly thick in the front and thinned out. Granted, I grew mine out for weeks before so that she could shape them properly (it’s hard to grow out eyebrows!) so that’s your best bet but I would definitely go back to Mashelle.

Machelle is wonderful … She loves what she does and makes my brows perfectly groomed very time. She is so funny I have fun every time I come for an appt. I just love her :)

I couldn’t disagree more with the negative review of Machelle. I have been to her twice, and she did an excellent job both times. It is the best eyebrow shaping I have had done in a long time, and I have been to the very famous (and very expensive) Rashida B once.
BTW, she will tweeze instead of wax if you ask, and it’s the same price.

Very good service. $ 20 for your first visit, and $ 15 for return visits. If you like your eyebrows to look natural, however, be sure to let the esthetician know. The first time I went. she sculpted my eyebrows with very sharp lines. I recommend this spot for a quick, professional waxing in the loop!

I work around the corner, so I usually wander around Macy’s during my lunch break and had often seen women getting their eyebrows waxed at the Lancome counter. This morning I looked in the mirror and realized that blatant negligence had led me to start resembling Eugene Levy… that’s right, the dad from American Pie… because my eyebrows looked bush!
I went in at lunch and made an appointment with Machelle for after work. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! Machelle took her time (about 30 minutes) perfecting the shape of my brows and sculpting them into just the right shape. She explained everything she did and why she left certain hairs and opted to remove others. She also explained their whole process and talked about what I should be doing on my end as far as maintenance and upkeep. She’s an absolute doll and I will definitely be back!
It cost $ 20 the first time, then $ 15 for each repeat visit, which I think is a pretty sweet deal for being Downtown.
Extra bonus: She tipped me off that Flava Flave was in the house!
