This is my place for running, thinking and relaxation. This beats a treadmill any day. The views of the city are amazing and inspiring. The path is good for walking, jogging, running, and biking. There are also places for bird watching, BBQing and beach fun. I love this path.

Came across the hill while biking down Halstead. There is always something new but this was the biggest newest thing for a while. Easily the best views of Chicago. Wish I had my camera.

ohhhh, I love this sledding hill. it’s beautiful, it’s just-remote-enough, yet yr still sledding within view of the skyline and the lake and. it’s crazy! it’s gorgeous. bulk up, bring yr sleds or cafeteria trays or pieces of linoleum or cardboard, and hike on up. it’s not too steep of a climb, but the hill is fast and long and superfun and i’m getting incredibly nostalgic typing this. i guess now i don’t mind Impending Winter quite so much.

Ah, the sledding hill! The opportunities are endless. 1) Best view of Soldier Field and the Loop are from the top. 2) Since there are no other hills to run/bike up in this city, here’s your opportunity to train for your next race/ride/run/sprint away from the cops. 3) It’s hard to see what’s going on at the top of the hill, so it’s actually a fine place to have a beer on a summer afternoon/evening. 4) Perfect for downhill biking– feet up! 5) Great make-out spot. 6) Wonderful view of the harbor and activities like Venetian Night. 7) I guess you can sled here, too. If you really had to.
