I was there Sunday for the first time and bought menudo, it’s very good, but a little spicy. My husband says he prefers it without the hominy, but I liked it with hominy. They don’t provide any garnishes, they sell prepackaged trays of onions, cilantro, limes and oregano for $ 1.00. I would definitely be back to buy menudo when I have a taste and too lazy to make it at home.
I also bought tamales from the lady that’s outside the store and let me tell you, they’re very spicy as well. She only had red tamales left, I would like to go back and try the green ones.
