The food is packed with flavor and authentic. The beef tacos are one of my favorites. It’s filled with shredded beef that has a nice texture where it’s not too chewy and marinated to perfection. It’s topped off with a green salsa that has a spicy kick but well-balanced with a sweet after taste. A lime garnish completes the beef taco; a taco that I wouldn’t mind eating any(or every) day of the week.

Not only does La Palma Supermercado sell the tasty ingredients, they also make the food on the weekend to sell. The Barbocoa is delicious. You can tell it’s high quality and prepared and seasoned perfectly. They should start a catering business!

If you’re planning a Mexican family picnic this is a pretty awesome place to go grocery shopping for the event. There’s tons of carne, pollo, spices and pablano peppers for way cheaper than you’d find these ingredients at a Jewel. There’s also a really large liquor selection with some higher end tequilas so the most important aspects of this fiesta should be covered at La Palma. Compared to several of the other markets in the area that aren’t online this store is the cleanest and most well organized. They also have an ATM if you just happen to be nearby and need some cash.

Weekend made Menudo? It is very good you have to try it. It’s only to go and they have carnitas they are good like just about everywhere. Oh and don’t walk in there with loose change to buy anything like a two liter of pop lol, you can feel they hate it. The store is too pricey on everything els, not a good thing and no parking lot so you park on the street and you have to pay the meter just to stop in.
