Great tacos made with lean meats & soft tortillas. Nothing fancy! Just onions & cilantro. If you are near Kedzie & 38th Street, make sure to stop by. Cash only but they have a ATM machine inside. This place is located near the Kedzie entrance by I-​55.

Love this place. Right in the corner of Kedzie and 37th. Small place but great food. I eat here every time I’m in the area.
They have this green salsa made from Aguacate for those who don’t know, its pretty damn good!

This place is the best. If u are looking for freshly made Mexican food you’ve come to the right place! They were very friendly and took special requests. They have quality food that will make you drive for miles just to have it again. The asada tacos are fantastic and the tortas are amazing. But every thing is good here. I’ve had it all! They have agua de horchata and Jamaica too. But remember to bring cash, it’s cash only!
They also have the special guacamole salsa that that comes with the crunchy and savory chips and the combination is out of this world! The chips are made at the restaurant fresh everyday. If you go on the weekend you will be able to get delicious menudo too!
I like to come a lot and hope you do too, because honestly it can’t get any better than this:) You have to give it a try!

If you want fresh Mexican food that tastes GREAT and you are close to the area, come HERE. The place looks like a hole in the wall and that I’m sure will turn people away but give it a try. Honestly just order one steak or chicken taco and you will be hooked. The steak is so tender and the chicken so juicy. I personally prefer the steak Tortas but honestly nothing is going to disappoint.
Another great thing is the chips and salsa that they give you complimentary are great. Yes, I know every Mexican restaurant does that but the quality is fantastic. These chips are fantastic however, lightly salted, not drenched in oil, and taste fresh. One of the salsas they give you is a avocado based one (it’s kind of guac but not the same people may not be used to. Almost like a purée and it’s got a kick to it) and it is fantastic and great to put on any of your tacos, Tortas, or burritos.
Long story short, give this place a try if you like good Mexican food that stands out :-D

This place has some of the freshest Mexican food in the neighborhood, I really enjoy the Tacos from La Iguanita and wish this place was given a chance because my fear is this place will go out of business because of the lack of customers. I’m here trying to change that
