Ken Hayes

Dr. Hayes is a fantastic physician. He takes the time to listen to you and THEN diagnoses the problem. Great «bed side» manners. If you’re looking for a new Dr. look no further.

So I suddenly had some pretty nasty health junk happen. About a week after I turned 30, I started having chest pains. They say the wheels come off when you turn 30, but man, I didn’t think the whole engine was going to explode. I needed a quick appointment, and while my regular doctor was unavailable (I think he was out of town), the fine folks at NMPG scheduling instead sent me to Dr. Hayes in the Loop.
Dr. Hayes has been nothing short of wonderful during a very stressful time. He listened to my concerns, documented everything pretty thoroughly, and has always taken the time to explain to me exactly what’s going on. He has personally called the hospital to schedule tests for me. He even laughs at my dumb jokes, which is an easy way to win points with me. ;)
I’m not sure if I’m out of the woods yet (cross your fingers for me tomorrow!), and it’s kinda scary to not have my regular doc with me. But even if I’m not ok, I’m glad I’ve got Dr. Hayes on my side.
(Oh, and the other stuff: Great office. Friendly staff. Didn’t keep me waiting. Convenient to work. What more could a girl want?)
