One of my favorite shops in Chicago. Beautiful, clean designs. Good quality. Great service and attentive/professional staff. Love my salesperson, Molly. I have worked with her since her time at Robin Richman, and respect her consultative approach, recommending what is good for you and steering you away from items that may be less complimentary to your style or your looks. Also good at keeping you abreast of new items coming to the shop that you may like. I have met and worked with all staff there and recommend any of them without hesitation. They are all very easy to deal with, and not pushy. They work hard for you without you feeling obligated to purchase anything. The manager, Erika is also very nice and helpful, giving all the time and attention customers need. I had purchased a few items from her when she was the manager at Brunello Cucinelli. I have shopped at Jill Sander in San Francisco, Seoul and Tokyo. Chicago shop is my favorite. My highest recommendation.

I was in Chicago and on Oak St. and decided to see what Jill Sander had. I asked the salesman for a size 44 or 46 because I am a size 12 U.S. He insisted a size 42 was a 12. I didn’t argue with him but what he brought me of course didn’t fit. I wasn’t crazy about the selection anyway and said thanks but no thanks and left. He obviously doesn’t know the basics.

Great place, yes it is expensive, and dress rich or atleast wear Antix jeans, Seven or something and that way you won’t be treated like yesterdays trash!

This place is pretty expensive, as most shops on Oak street are! The designer is German so she has some unusual pieces in here which are fun to look at and try on. THey have great perfume here as well, for men and women
