I started going there when I needed a ring resized. They are very reasonable for repairs and resizings, even when they have to add gold. I had one ring that was resized several sizes up because I wanted to wear it on a different finger that it was purchased for. This required adding quite a bit of gold. The ring came back looking great. I also had my mother’s wedding ring cleaned and they added a platinum finish so the diamonds, although tiny, really popped.
They are both really nice folks to deal with. What I like is that you can put things on layaway, which allows you to save a piece so it doesn’t get sold if you need another month or two to get the funds for your purchase. They are frequently getting different pieces in, especially rings, so if you see something you like it is best to not think about it for too long.
Most all their jewelry is semi-​precious and precious variety, and most of their pieces are gold, and are not gold plated or vermeil. You can find some unusual and lovely settings there for a fraction of what you would pay at the big box jewelry stores.

I took some necklaces to Jessica’s to be shortened and to have the clasps altered and they did a great job. The woman who run’s it is named Columbia, but she’s from Ecuador. Her husband is named Al and he’s a doll. They are both very nice. The work is inexpensive but very professional and I highly recommend them. It’s the kind of place where they remember your name.
